If you’re the type to go all out at Halloween, we’ve got good news for you. Pinterest just released their 2019 Halloween Report, featuring this year’s top trending Halloween makeup ideas, and there’s nothing subtle about these looks.

Continuing 2018’s trend of film and television dominating the inspo boards, this year also sees some of the most popular Halloween beauty picks inspired by the likes of Stranger Things, Powerpuff Girls, Spider Man, Aladdin and the Lion King.

Also in the mix of the most popular Pinterest Halloween makeup searches are classics like aliens, porcelain dolls and - we were surprised by this one - mimes!

Clowns (specifically, good looking ones) are also going to be huge for Halloween 2019, with loads of people plugging ‘cute clown makeup’ and ‘pretty clown makeup’ into their Pinterest searches.
