Whether you’re coming straight from a morning sweat session or slept through your alarm, creating a perfectly styled hair look in the early hours of the morning can sometimes seem impossible. Thankfully it’s not, you just need to have a few styles up your sleeve that you could literally do in the car if need be.

Taylor Hill's half topknot

Taylor Hill’s off-duty model ‘do is the perfect go-to if your hair is a little dirty at the top, but the lengths are still okay. Section your hair from the top of your ears and gather into a half ponytail on the crown of your head. Twist the ponytail into a bun and pin down into place.

Hailey Baldwin's simple low bun

Hailey Baldwin shows us that sometimes super-subtle is the way to go. This ‘do is perfect for pairing with a radiant complexion, defined brows, and a soft lip. Simply let your part fall as it may, and scrape back into a low bun. If you have short layers at the front, tuck or pin them behind your ears to keep your hair looking polished.

While a messy topknot is often the ultimate indicator you ran out of time, if executed correctly it can look polished and sophisticated. Brush your hair so it’s smooth and knot-free, then sweep it into a ponytail on top of your head.
