If you’ve been looking for a mask to help with acne, we may have found just the thing. An old school product known as Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay has been doing the rounds on Amazon’s beauty bestseller list and its reviews are blowing up the Internet – for all the right reasons.

So far, the product has amassed almost 20,000 glowing five-star reviews (and counting) on the international Amazon site. Surely that's got to be some kind of record in beauty history.

“I’ve been using this mask for a little over a week now. I use it with apple cider vinegar. Since I had pimples I used it EVERY night. For about 20 minutes (or until I felt my face pulsate a little). This is the only thing that has ever worked for me. And I have tried EVERYTHING to fix my skin. This mask is like the holy grail of acne solutions,” wrote one Amazon shopper.

Meanwhile, another reviewer gushed: “I swear by this product. I’ve had moderate acne for ~15 years and tried quite a few different products. For me, this one WORKS— I haven’t had skin this clear since elementary school.”

But that’s not all… the product is also said to have quite the celeb following with the likes of Kourtney  Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Mindy Kaling and Lili Reinhart citing it as one of their skin care non-negotiables.

So, how does it work?

The product’s label promises to make you “feel your face pulsate” and give you the "world's most powerful facial.” No big deal.

And, a quick glance at the ingredients list reveals it contains just one ingredient: pure bentonite clay which works to draw impurities from the skin while healing at the same time.

However, the mask does come with a (simple) catch - you have to mix it yourself as the jar contains literally just 100 per cent dried bentonite clay in its powdery form. The clay can be mixed with water but apple cider vinegar is recommended for best results.
