The EE British Academy Film Awards - better known as the BAFTAs - is hands down the biggest red carpet event of the year in the UK. It's a night that celebrates both A-list stars and up-and-coming British actors. And while yes, that means you've got a room full of some of the most famous faces from around the world (think Margot Robbie, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Charlize Theron) it also means you've got a room full of some amazing celebrity hair and makeup moments.
At the Royal Albert Hall tonight, It-Brits and Hollywood's elite gathered for the 73rd annual British Academy Film Awards. In addition to stand-out sustainable fashions, the red carpet was replete with dazzling beauty looks.
From Lily Rose Depp's matte '90s inspired pout to Emilia Clarke's slicked updo, here are the best beauty looks from the 2020 BAFTAs.
The Little Women star, and perhaps the biggest breakout actress of this year's award circuit, Florence Pugh opted for a bold beauty look to suit her bold look.
Makeup artist Karen Alder was responsible for Saoirse Ronan's glamorous look for the award ceremony using luxurious By Terry products. Meanwhile, hair stylist Adir created a 60s rocker look, saying "I was inspired to create a rockabilly-esque pompadour but wanted to keep it very feminine and soft”.
Lily-Rose Depp opted for some cascading curls and dusty rose makeup, which she paired with a completely sheer gown.
Margot Robbie perfectly paired romantic, face-framing tendrils with a glittery smoky eyeliner.
Scarlett Johansson matched her makeup with her pink gown, adding in some long lashes and rosy lips. Her hair was slicked into an updo, complete with quiff.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore her signature bronze smoky eye, while her hair was styled into a graceful updo.
Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke went for a sultry smoky eye and paired with a side-slicked updo.
In true Zoe style, the actress paired a classic red lip with her bright accessories.
