Looking good has never felt better
Beauty Crew Beauty Writer / October 07 2019
Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in Australian women, with 53 people diagnosed every day. Yep – that’s massive. And while it’s never not a good time to donate, Breast Cancer Awareness Month provides an opportunity for us to focus our efforts on supporting those who are suffering from breast cancer for one specific month out of the year. While you can show your support in a whole bunch of different ways, here are some of the beauty brands taking part in the fight.
Black Chicken Remedies Axilla Natural Deodorant Paste Original
For the month of October, Black Chicken are turning a fabulous shade of pink! When you purchase their natural deodorant, the Axilla Deodorant Paste (in either Original or Barrier Booster), Black Chicken Remedies will donate $2 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation for every jar sold.
Wrinkles Schminkles Chest Smoothing Kit
You can now smooth out your pesky chest wrinkles andmake a difference, because Wrinkles Schminkles will be donating $5 from the sale of every Chest Smoothing Kit to fund breast cancer research. The clear heart-shaped pads work overnight to smooth those unwanted lines and wrinkles around your chest caused by side sleeping, sun exposure and ageing. Plus, they’re reusable for up to 30 applications! Major heart eyes.
ghd Platinum + Ink on Pink Styler
If you’re still hanging on to the same hot irons you’ve had since you were 18, it’s time for an upgrade – and there’s no better time to do it. Aside from offering the same amazing features as the ghd platinum+ tool (including plates that heat up to 185 degrees and automatic sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity), the ghd Platinum + Ink on Pink Styler boasts a gorgeous floral pink and black design by Chicago-based mastectomy tattoo artist David Allen. Better yet, $20 from every straightener sold will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Bobbi Brown Proud To Be Pink Lip Colour Duo
Update your makeup kit with the creamy full-coverage Bobbi Brown Proud To Be Pink Lip Colour Duo and Bobbi Brown will donate $24 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. A beautiful pink pout and the opportunity to support a worthy cause? Sounds like a pretty good deal to us.
