The best facial hair removal products that won’t irritate your skin

If waxing, epilating or even tweezing is too painful for you, then a depilatory cream is the way to go. All three are great, but for the purpose of removing facial hairs, the latter is the one you need. The word epilator may scare you, but this one is pretty gentle. It has 10 micro-openings to capture extra-fine hairs down to 0.2mm wide and only 0.5mm high, which is pretty impressive (and means you barely need to let your hairs grow before plucking them again). The head also moves fast, with 200 movements per second, which makes it efficient and effective. It’s a lot easier to get precise results, especially around curved areas like under the brows and above your lip. You just twist the pen to release the wax, glide the tip over the area to be treated, pop a cotton strip over the wax, hold your skin taut and pull the strip off in the opposite direction to your hair growth. If you accidentally apply wax somewhere it’s not supposed to be, you can simply wash it off with water.
