‘Tis the time to treat yourself! From makeup to skin care, and even fragrance, we’ve got you sorted when it comes to the pick of the crop in beauty land this season.
Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous EDP
Could this be the most controversial beauty launch of the year? Tom Ford’s newest spritz, Fucking Fabulous, is exactly as the name suggests, and is a mysterious concoction filled with clary sage oil, bitter almond and orris root, softened with lavender, tonka bean, vanilla, leather and amber. Whether you’re a fan of the juice itself or not, we think this bottle is worth collecting anyway to proudly put on display.
Maybelline New York Gigi Hadid Jetsetter Palette
The highly-anticipated Gigi Hadid for Maybelline collection is finally here! Divided into two different looks - East Coast and West Coast - the products range from classics like a black mascara and red lipsticks right through to curated masterpieces like pink and bronze eyeshadow palettes. The real standout of the collection, however, is the Jetsetter palette, which consists of concealers, a powder blush and a bronzer, eyeshadows, lip balms, and even a mini-sized mascara. Launching on the 9th of December, we’re predicting a nation-wide sell out, so you’d better be quick.
Shu Uemura Art Of Hair Super Mario Bros. Bento
Show your hair some love this December with Shu Uemura’s hair range that’s cleverly packaged in this gift-worthy Super Mario Bros. tin. Pick from the Urban Moisture range to hydrate dry locks, Color Lustre range to protect dyed hair, Silk Bloom range to increase hair softness and the Ultimate Remedy range to rescue hair in need of some serious TLC.
Bourjois Air Mat Powder
For those that have oily or combination skin, it’s essential to pack a mattifying powder in your daily makeup bag to zap shine in an instant. The benefit of using a tinted powder like Bourjois Air Mat Powder instead of a white “invisible” powder is that it’ll soak up excess sebum, add coverage and not leave your complexion looking cakey.
Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm Coconutter
Lanolips’ 101 Ointment is a top pick when it comes to lip balms here in the Beauty Crew office, so you could imagine our excitement (cue squealing girls) when we laid eyes on their newest scent ‘Coconutter’, which smells exactly like a summer holiday. Plus, it’s infused with coconut oil and coconut milk to really soften chapped skin.
Dr. Dennis Gross SpectraLite Eye Care Pro
2017 has certainly been a year of innovative skin care devices, and this one from Dr. Dennis Gross does not disappoint. Named the “SpectraLite Eye Care Pro” and built with 72 LED lights, you can pop this light therapy tool straight over your eyes to target uneven skin tone, crow’s feet and lost skin density in the area.
Cinch Face Cheat(er) Cream Moisturiser + Glow
Ideal for parched skin, Cinch’s new moisturiser is packed with Kakadu plum, aloe vera and sweet almond oil to seriously hydrate deep into the skin’s layers, with results lasting up to 72 hours. Now that’s seriously impressive.
Zoeva Strobe Gel in Parhelia
Boosted with tiny spheres of illuminating pearls, Zoeva Strobe Gel in the new shade Parhelia can effectively brighten cheekbones and eyelids, and is a dream to blend on top of foundation or bare skin with your fingers.
Strobe like a pro with our essential guide to highlighting.
