“People would put on gloves and not want to touch me because they thought it was, like, leprosy or something,” Delevingne confessed to The Times of an experience she had during fashion week. “I am not doing fashion work anymore, after having, like, psoriasis and all that stuff." Delevingne did take the power back, however, at the 2022 Met Gala, choosing to leave areas of psoriasis (as well as several tattoos) uncovered on her elbows while painting the rest of her body a glistening gold.

"For the past eight years, although the spots are unpredictable, I can always count on my main spot on my right lower leg, which consistently stays flared up," Kardashian West said of the condition via sister Kourtney Kardashian's site Poosh. "I have learned to live with this spot without using any creams or medication—I just deal. Sometimes I cover it up and sometimes I don’t. It doesn’t really bother me."

""It's just been such an issue since I've had it. The first time I had a flare up I was 23, and I got it from like a scratch. I was scratched and then that scratch turned into what was a psoriasis flare-up, but it took me like five doctors to figure out what it was," Van Ness shared with Allure. "I was going to start FaceTuning the spots out, but then I was like, 'No, I'm just gonna post it. Your body is fierce, it's cute, it's fine, and the more people that know about psoriasis, the more you'll stop having to tell cute guys about it when you take your top off." FYI, Van Ness likes to slather his body in Biossance's 100% Squalane Oil whenever he gets a flare-up.

"I was diagnosed with psoriasis when I was two. I had a really bad bout with strep throat, and that's when I first had patches break out on my scalp. It's been an ongoing battle my whole life," Rimes told health.com of her experience. "I've been able to find a good dermatologist and get it under control. I've been clear for about five years now, which is pretty amazing, because when I was about six, psoriasis covered 80 per cent of my body."

Kardashian West actually inherited the chronic skin condition from mum Kris Jenner, who was diagnosed at the age of 30. Kardashian West did mention, however, that Jenner's experience was generally less extreme: "I'd heard of psoriasis before because my mum has always had it, but she didn't have red flaky dots all over her."

"I developed psoriasis six years ago. It's annoying. There's really no way to control it and it comes and goes whenever it pleases. It's like a douche-y boyfriend. You know what I mean? Right now, if you wiped away all of my makeup, you would see red patches all over my face," Schroeder told Today. "The advice I would give to anyone who has psoriasis is to let go of any anxiety about it because there's nothing you can do. If you stress about it, it's only going to make it worse because it's brought on by stress a lot of the time. And what's the point? You're just going to be miserable."
