Celine Dion is the unofficial queen of Paris Couture Fashion Week. The 51-year-old served one killer street style look after another, sat front row at shows, whipped through the city on a scooter while clad in a designer couture gown. She also posed with pooches in a giant bubble-hem gown, wore a designer replica of that Titanic necklace and most importantly, managed to squeeze in time to get a snazzy new haircut.

Dion updated her ombre blonde hair by stepping out with a chic blunt lob. The new should length chop hits was styled with an on-trend middle part and worn straight. Just two days prior, the singer was seen at Schiaparelli and Iris Van Herpen's shows with her long hair styled in pushed-back waves.

While we're used to seeing Celine experimenting with her fashion choices, this is the first time in a few years that the Grammy winner has departed from her long waves. Frankly, we'd expect nothing less from the superstar who lives and breathes couture and wears multiple outfits in one day.

Dion debuted her haircut while leaving her hotel in Paris on July 3rd, the My Heart Will Go On singer then added a soft wave to her tresses when attending the Valentino Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2019 2020 later that day.

The bob haircut is undeniable the hairstyle du jour of cool girls like Sophie Turner, Olivia Palermo and Bella Hadid.

For this reason, when it comes to defining the most popular haircut of the moment, it’s hard to go past the classic bob. The bob or lob - that's a long bob for the uninitiated - is a versatile style that's cut to a workable length which can be pulled into a messy bun or worn loose. Undoubtedly universally flattering; this hair trend suits most hair types and faces. Complementary and approachable - the lob is the Miss Congeniality of the hair world. That's not to say that Dion is afraid of taking risks, because her beauty evolution would prove otherwise. In 2000, she ushered in the new millennium with a pixie cut and frosted tips.
