Chloe Morello's 60-second face-lift hack

Stealing this one for later, thank you!

On the days when our skin is looking a little less than perky due to a few too many late nights, red wines and not getting our recommended eight glasses of water a day, it is deeply upsetting to be faced with the reality that an immediate face-lift with no surgery or downtime required has yet to be invented. And honestly, we’re starting to feel personally attacked.

Thankfully, beauty guru Chloe Morello has got our back, developing a genius technique for faking a lifted visage without having to go through the stress of having your face rearranged by a plastic surgeon. Phew, way to come through sis.

Turns out the secret has absolutely nothing to do with fiddling with your face – mind blown. It’s actually all about the hair with this one, and as Chloe demonstrates in the handy instructional video below, the technique is actually quite simple:

Split the hair into two sections like a half-up half-down type of ‘do, then take a small section of hair from either side of your head and fasten them together at the back of your head using a small hair band. Tightening the mini ponytail you’ve just created to achieve your desired level of lift and then release the top section of hair to hide all your handiwork. Et voila – feline features in a flash.

Chloe’s got all the secrets. Here’s what she does for perfectly flawless foundation.

Briar Clark got her start in the media industry in 2017, as an intern for Marie Claire and InStyle. Since then, her keen interest in fashion and beauty has landed her gigs as a Digital Content Producer and Beauty Editor with titles like Girlfriend, Refinery29, BEAUTYcrew and beautyheaven. She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends. When she’s not testing out the latest beauty launches, Briar is big on broadening her horizons, mostly in the form of food but she’s also partial to travelling to new destinations both near and far (and of course, allocating an extra bag to bring their best beauty offerings home with her).
