Whether or not you consider yourself a perfume buff, you’ll likely be familiar with legendary Parisian fragrance house Diptyque.

Over the years, their products have earned a cult following and loyal fan base not just due to their decadent scents, but also their iconic jars and beautiful bottles.

Now, Diptyque is launching a new type of fragrance and frankly, it’s quite unlike anything we’ve seen before. It’s not a spritz, it’s not a rollerball and nor is it a solid balm…

Introducing: Perfumed stickers.

Offering a completely new olfactory experience, Diptyque has described their stickers as halfway between a clothing ornament and a mobile diffuser, and they serve as a visual indicator to others that you’re part of the Diptyque club.

They’re reminiscent of the temporary tattoos we all loved as kids, but much cooler - and obviously better smelling.

The graphic baroque designs are cut from matte satin and are available in three different designs based on existing Diptyque perfumes: Eau Rose (a floral, fruity, rose-fragranced illustration of a rose), Do Son (a fresh white floral-scented tuberose) and L’Ombre Dans L’Eau (a swan design perfumed with alluring notes of rose, blackcurrant and musk).

The stickers can be applied and reapplied to the wearer’s skin a handful of times, releasing their concentrated fragrance throughout the day.

Considering the brand was established by three artists, we’re not surprised to see this progression into wearable art. The stickers are set to launch at Mecca on 1 October in Australia, and we can’t wait to try them.

If you’re looking for more novel ways to wear your fragrance, you need to try these hair perfumes.
