Australian national treasure Elle Macpherson undoubtedly has one of the best physiques in the modelling game.

In fact, she was appropriately dubbed “The Body” by Time Magazine back in 1989 after landing a record-breaking five cover star appearances for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and the name has stuck with her ever since.

Today the 55-year-old continues to amaze us with her flawless physique.

Besides no doubt having her own brand of WelleCo supplements to thank, it seems a controversial body treatment known as lymphatic drainage could also be partly to credit for her svelte figure. Check out these results she shared on her Instagram after a lymphatic drainage session:

Okay, we are shooketh! Although Elle was very trim and toned to begin with, the treatment appears to have flattened her stomach and torso area. We’re impressed!

So how does it work? Lymphatic drainage is essentially a special massage technique that is said to aid digestion and assist the body in its removal of waste products. However, sceptics of the procedure question its efficacy, and some claim that it can even spread existing cancer cells throughout the body.

Without any concrete facts, it’s hard to know if the treatment is worth it. However, after seeing Elle’s results, we’re tempted to give it a try.
