There’s no denying that Kim Kardashian is the Queen of hair changes - from glossy black to platinum blonde and her latest neon pink number, she’s no stranger to switching up her look.

And as her neon pink hair journey nears to an end (it lasted for a few weeks, so it had a good run), she’s let us in on her quick and easy trick on how to instantly lighten your coloured hair and completely change its shade. And its actually pretty damn genius.

Posting an Instagram snap of herself with new (super light) baby pink hair, she wrote, "Hair Hack - I crushed up vitamin C and mixed it with shampoo to get the pink color out. Full deets on my app."

In her blog post titled ‘The Trick I Use To Tone My Pink Hair’, Kim revealed that she applied the crushed-up tablets-and-shampoo mix on her hair and let it sit for 20 minutes, before rinsing her hair and enjoying the heck out of her new, lighter-looking ‘do.

Pretty simple, huh?

She wrote, “I was hoping my hair would eventually turn back to blond, but it left my color a slight pink tone, which I ended up loving!”

So do we!

Buuut be warned, this little DIY trick will deliver mixed results per person and it may strip your hair of moisture pretty quickly – so make sure you have a hydrating hair mask on hand and proceed with caution. And when in doubt – leave it to the pros to transform your hair colour.
