There’s no denying Gwen Stefani has had a wildly successful career, but now the former No Doubt singer can add beauty ambassador to her already-impressive résumé.

Revlon has just announced that the three-time Grammy award winner, singer, songwriter, fashion designer, and master of a bold red lip will be joining singer Ciara as its new Global Ambassador, a title previously held by superstars Halle Berry, Olivia Wilde, and Emma Stone.

Behind-the-scenes shooting the new campaign

“We are thrilled that Gwen Stefani will be representing Revlon as a Global Brand Ambassador,” said Revlon President & CEO Fabian Garcia. “Gwen is a modern-day icon: a Grammy-winning artist, a trendsetter, an entrepreneur and loving mother. The versatility of these accomplishments demonstrates her message of female empowerment, one that strongly resonates across generations of fans.”

And here’s the announcement Revlon posted on their Instagram to celebrate Gwen’s appointment:

Gwen herself is ecstatic with her new role, saying, “Ever since I was a young girl, I have used makeup as a form of self-expression. I am passionate about makeup and how it can showcase your individuality and creativity. Partnering with an iconic beauty brand such as Revlon felt like a natural fit. I am so excited to continue sharing my love of makeup as a Revlon Global Brand Ambassador.”

The singer adding, “Love has been a muse for my songwriting. Revlon’s CHOOSE LOVE™ message is an important one, and I am very excited for the opportunity to partner with Revlon and continue spreading this message of positivity and love.”

She also revealed to WWD that the appointment has given her a chance to experiment a bit more with her own makeup. “For me, I get stuck in a routine,” she said. “Like, OK, this is what’s safe and this is how fast I can put this on before I’ve got to go on the school run.”
