The exact products you’d need to create Khloe Kardashian’s piecey waves

Earlier in the year, celebrity hairstylist Justine Marjan – who works with the likes of Olivia Culpo, Kerry Washington and Chrissy Teigen – revealed the products she used to create Khloe Kardashian’s covetable textured post-beach waves. And now the hairstylist has done it again by sharing the products she used to create Khloe’s smooth, soft waves on her Instagram and Snapchat stories.

Marjan has recently been named the Global Brand Ambassador for TRESemmé, and so she unsurprisingly relies on a few of the brand’s prep products to create these waves. To start, she used the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Mousse, applied to Khloe’s wet hair, and then followed this by blow-drying Khloé’s hair with the ghd Air Hairdryer and a round brush (if you’re looking for a new round hair brush to add to your kit, we recommend Shu Emura Art of Hair Round Brush) and adding clip-in extensions.  

Marjan then used the 26mm ghd Curve Classic Curling Tong to create the waves. The trick, Marjan explains in her social media stories, is to alternate the direction you wrap each section of hair around the tong to create a slightly messy wavy finish. Once Khloé’s hair cooled, she used a combination of TRESemmé Instant Refresh Volumising Dry Shampoo and Ouai Texturising Hairspray to give hair a touch of grit and texture. Marjan also added a touch of pomade on the ends of Khloé’s hair to create that piecey, lived-in texture (she used Fatboy Sea Salt Pomade, which isn't available here, but you can try Pureology Colour Stylist Piecing Sculpt), and finished off with a spritz of TRESemmé Salon Finish Extra Hold Hairspray.
