If there’s one hair trend that keeps popping up on our Instagram feeds and Pinterest boards, it’s the glorious bob. Classic, versatile and universally flattering, it’s become one of the hottest hairstyles to have because it’s a winner regardless of your hair type.

Whether you opt for a long bob (aka the lob), a shoulder-grazing style or a blunt jaw-grazer – the bob is definitely the A-lister hairstyle du jour. So if you’ve been waiting for the perfect hair inspiration to show your hairdresser, take your pick from the best celebrity short hair transformations below.

Khloe Kardashian

Khloe Kardashian swapped her lengthy blonde tresses for that signature blunt bob we all know and love. The star took to Instagram to reveal her post-baby switch to short hair, which was styled super sleek and hits just above her shoulders. It’s official: Koko is back!

Rihanna

The singer took to Instagram Stories to show off a drastic new hair change – and we are obsessed. While she’s been changing up her hair a lot as of late, this is the shortest we’ve seen it in a long time. The new style falls just above her shoulders with edgy choppy layers.

Lucy Hale

Oh Lucy. She is forever our #hairgoals. And while she’s dabbled in many colours and lengths like a total chameleon, her latest chin-grazing style (courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Kristin Ess, of course!) is up there as one of our all-time favourites.

Celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan took to Instagram to reveal Emma’s latest ‘do, captioning the pic “The New Short”. It just might be the chicest damn bob we’ve ever seen and we’re willing to back McMillan’s prediction that this particular style is about to be *everywhere*.

The star has gone even shorter, trimming a few inches off of her lob for this textured bob that falls just below her jawline. Olivia’s hairstylist Justine Marjan shared a snap on Instagram, writing: “We opted for more layers and texture instead of her usual #bluntcut for summer.” Summer, winter – we think it’s perfect any time of the year!
