R&B superbabe, Jhene Aiko, is quite possibly one of the most stunning people we’ve ever seen in our lives – facts. So, when the singer decided to share her go-to foundation recommendation with her IG fans (as well as a stunning selfie to showcase the base products handiwork), we had to see what the hype was about.

The foundation in question? KVD Vegan Beauty’s 100% Vegan True Portrait Medium Coverage Shake Foundation. As if Aiko’s stunning face wasn’t evidence enough that this foundation does some serious magic, it’s also known for refining the complexion and eliminating the appearances of pores and blemishes. In fact, this foundation is so popular, that with over 800 reviews, it’s amassed  a solid 4-star rating and a waitlist to purchase half of the shade range on Sephora. Damn…

The foundation is described as: “A lightweight, medium-coverage, liquid-to-powder foundation that sets to a long-wear, airy-matte finish and won’t clog pores.” And it seems Sephora’s thoughts on the product have been echoed by their customers who have had plenty to say about the vegan-friendly favourite.

According to one reviewer, “full coverage doesn't even begin to describe this foundation. It covers every imperfection in your skin with the lightest application.”

While another went on to say she was seriously impressed by the way it wears on skin, “I honestly love this foundation. It sits lightly, offers a great coverage and doesn't cake.”

One reviewer said the foundation was a ‘godsend’ on long shifts for when she didn’t want to have to worry about her makeup moving or feeling heavy throughout the day, “I honestly 10/10 recommend this to anyone who gets oily throughout the day or like me, works shift work and hates feeling like they have makeup for their entire 12 hour shift.”

Love a vegan foundation? These are the best natural foundations for conscious beauty queens.
