With New York Fashion Week officially kicking off last week, between all the celebrities, models and influencers, we’ve had some choice beauty looks flood our social media feeds. But none have caught our attention quite like those of Kehlani. We’ve rounded up some of our favourite looks from the R&B singer:

Vanity Fair’s Best-Dressed List Party

Kehlani kicked off fashion week at Vanity Fair’s Best-Dressed List Party wearing an OTT smoky eye in varying shades of pink. Her makeup artist, Troye Antonio, topped off the eye look with a magenta cat eye, and strategically placed crystals to frame her eyeliner. Hairstylist Kahh Spence styled Kehlani’s hair with a faux wavy ponytail and expertly-groomed baby hairs, giving us some serious throwback ‘90s hip hop vibes.

Harper’s Bazaar celebrates ‘ICONS by Carine Roitfeld’

Kehlani went full drama on the eyes here with cult-favourite Ardell lashes offset with a classic neutral glam eye look, which makeup artist Troye Antonio achieved using Pat McGrath’s Mothership V Pallete in the shades SkinShow Divine Glow, Disobedient and Entrapment. The neutral tones of her eye makeup were carried through to her nude manicure. Her flawless complexion can be attributed to Pat McGrath’s new Sublime Perfection Foundation in the shades 15 and 16.

Phillip Lim Runway Show

For personal friend Phillip Lim’s runway show, Kehlani’s hairstylist Kahh Spence gave the singer a swinging ‘60s-inspired high pony complete with flipped out bouncy ends. The retro theme continued with a smoked out, brown shadow with a feline flick. For a modern twist, Kehlani wore a brick red lip and a nude coffin-shaped manicure. Perfection.

Kehlani’s not the only one who’s been bring her beauty A-game to fashion week. These celebs have absolutely killed the front row at NYFW S/S 2020.
