The list is interesting...

Anxiety can be hard to navigate. When your body and brain are in a constant state of stress it can make it harder to make decisions, function at your best throughout the day and be able to regulate thoughts, feelings and emotions effectively. Finding small ways to self soothe can be a great way to moderate and regulate how we’re feeling mentally, emotionally and physically.

Kendall Jenner is no stranger to this concept, having suffered from severe anxiety and panic attacks since she was a young child. Though unlike regular anxiety sufferers, Kendall Jenner is loaded. So admittedly, the way she deals with anxious moments is a little different to the rest of us.

In fact, Kendall recently took
Architectural Digest on a tour through her Los Angeles home and shared some of the intended chiller aspects of the property, which include a fluorescent pink James Turrell painting, “I'm very proud of it, I have always wanted a James Turrell, so I was really excited when I got it. It's so peaceful and calming, and he actually makes these pieces to meditate in front of.”

She also converted her movie theater into a room solely for painting, something she uses as a way to destress when she’s been working too much, “I'm not good at painting, but I thoroughly enjoy it, and I consider it a form of therapy.”

“I love coming in here and just vibing out and making really horrible things. But it honestly lets a lot out of me.”

Last but not least is the meditation zone that precedes her master suite, complete with hidden copper rings that promote ‘a positive field of natural life force energy’, where she just likes to ‘meditate, chill out, zone out’.

Briar Clark got her start in the media industry in 2017, as an intern for Marie Claire and InStyle. Since then, her keen interest in fashion and beauty has landed her gigs as a Digital Content Producer and Beauty Editor with titles like Girlfriend, Refinery29, BEAUTYcrew and beautyheaven. She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends. When she’s not testing out the latest beauty launches, Briar is big on broadening her horizons, mostly in the form of food but she’s also partial to travelling to new destinations both near and far (and of course, allocating an extra bag to bring their best beauty offerings home with her).
