Kim Kardashian’s latest manicure is a nod to the noughties

Kim Kardashian French manicure comeback

She's nailed this tricky trend

The most recent crop of early-2000s inspired beauty trends have inspired me to try looks that I haven't worn since high school. From fashion hair clips to super shiny lipgloss and the flippy bob. The latest nostalgic beauty trend to have a sudden resurgence is the French manicure. Courtesy of beauty mogul Kim Kardashian no less.

Kim's French-tipped nails are exactly how you remember them from nearly two decades ago: painted with a neutral beige shade and thin white tip. Her choice of polish isn't the only thing that makes her manicure choice so unexpected. She also had her nails filed into a square shape — another nail trend that was left behind in favour of round and almond shapes.

Will French-tipped becomes a huge nail trend in 2019? Only time will tell.

Want to check out what other nostalgic beauty trend you’re going to be seeing everywhere? Kendall Jenner just brought back this ‘90s hair accessory.
