These are the beauty essentials Kylie Jenner keeps in her handbag

Okay, we may not have multiple Birkin bags (or a mum who would insist we buy the latest limited edition release as a ‘”great investment” like Kris Jenner did), but it turns out the items Kylie Jenner keeps inside her splashy purse are actually super relatable.

And though she definitely seems to have a pretty major affinity for her Kylie Skin and Kylie Cosmetics options across the board (hey, wouldn't you prefer a pack of wipes, lip balm etc. that said your name, too?), the products themselves are still must-haves.

So, in the name of keeping your beauty game in tact all day long, here are all the handbag essentials Jenner can’t leave home without, as well as some equally amazing options to swap in if you’re searching for something easier to get your hands on...

Hand Sanitiser

“Probably the most important thing in here with everything going on is my hand sanitiser,” says Jenner, and we couldn’t agree more – a good hand sani is a non-negotiable right now. The Kylie Skin sanitiser she’s hoarding in her handbag isn’t out just yet, but these floral and fruity treats will freshen your palms up just as nicely.

Fragrance

Even makeup moguls need to freshen up their fragrance every so often. “I have my favourite perfume of all time; this is my collaboration with KKW Fragrance, the nude scent. It’s genuinely my favourite scent, it’s what I wear every day, and I love reapplying my perfume throughout the day,” she explains. We love a vanilla-amber-musk situation too, and all of these sweet-yet-spicy scents fit the bill.

Silk Scrunchies

Another upcoming launch she teased? Her silk scrunchies. “I have my silk ones in here, they haven’t come out [yet]. You always need a scrunchie if you need to put your hair back.” That logic checks out.

Blotting Powder

“I have my Kendall Blotting Powder – it’s hot as b*lls, and I’m sweating my makeup off,” she laughs. “This powder is my best friend right now.” We’re big fans of keeping blotting powder on hand for a quick de-slick during warmer weather, too.

Sunscreen

Speaking of the heat, Jenner is all about staying sun safe, and she’s well aware it’s not just your face you should be worrying about. “I love to keep my sunscreen on me, especially when I’m not wearing makeup, or when I get in the car I love to put my sunscreen on my hands when I’m driving.” Smart.

Makeup Wipes

“I have some wipes in here, [they’re] my Kylie Skin wipes. If I'm on a shoot I love to take my makeup off," she shares. Okay, it’s not super often us regular folk are on shoots, but hey, the need for a quick face refresh when you're out and about is pretty universal.

Lip Balm

You can’t rock a matte lipstick if your pout is dry and flaky, now can you? Jenner is all about keeping her favourite feature plump, hydrated and smelling sweet. “These are my lip balms – I use them all the time. [I generally like] peach and vanilla [flavours],” she says, noting that her most-loved balm flavours will be returning.

Lip Colours

It wouldn’t be her handbag without a ton of lip options. “Even if I have the smallest purse it’ll be all lips and maybe my credit card and my license,” says Jenner. Alright, that’s a set of priorities we can get on board with.

“I have a lot of lip products in here – if I had to only pick one thing before I left the house it would be a lip [product]," she admits. "I will even sometimes switch up my lip throughout the [day or] night, so you never know, [but] I always have “Snatched” with me, it’s one of my favourite glosses.”
