Kylie Minogue has us spinning around with her newly-launched makeup range

Kylie Minogue Has Launched The Most Sparkly Makeup Range And We Love It

It’s even sparklier than we imagined

Move over Kylie Jenner, ‘cause there’s a new Kylie beautypreneur in town.

Yep, our beloved homegrown Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue has just launched her very own cosmetics range, Kylie.

The singer announced the launch with one seriously bedazzled Insta post to coincide with the promotion of her latest album, Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection.

The range is available via Kylie’s website under the merch section, and so far features a Lip Oil, Lip Gloss, Eye to Cheek Glitter, Lip to Cheek (a two-in-one lip and cheek colour), and last but not least, some of the sparkliest Eye Shadows we’ve seen yet.

Call us patriotic, but Minogue is the OG Kylie in our books, and it turns out the legal world agrees.

When Kylie Jenner first set out to launch Kylie Cosmetics, she originally wanted to trademark “Kylie” herself. But Minogue’s lawyers contested Jenner’s trademark application stating that Jenner was a “secondary reality TV personality”.

Ouch.

But there’s more - submissions were made that our gal Minogue was as an “internationally renowned performing artist, humanitarian and breast cancer activist known to the world simply as Kylie” – damn straight she is!

If that ain’t a mic drop, we don’t know what is.

Anyway, it seemed the US Patent and Trademark Office agreed as Jenner’s application was rejected (and she went on to have success with “Kylie Cosmetics” instead), paving the way for Minogue to launch her own Kylie cosmetics range.

And at long last, here it is. And we are here for it!

Victoria Beckham is another celeb to launch her own beauty brand this year, check out the full story here.
