Lili Reinhart Is Now A COVERGIRL

She plans to use her position to advocate for self-confidence and self-acceptance

Beauty Crew Digital Content Editor / October 31 2019

Adding another achievement to her growing list of accolades, actress, and author Lili Reinhart has just been announced as the newest face of cosmetics giant COVERGIRL.

“We’re excited for Lili to join our COVERGIRL family as she embodies a woman who is unapologetically herself - she is authentic, talented, and truly lives by what she believes in,” said Erika Woods, Vice President of Marketing of COVERGIRL in a press release announcing the news.

The Riverdale star has long been known for her candid manner and for never being afraid to speak out on issues close to her heart, including her personal struggles with acne. Lili was a trailblazer in the ‘skin positivity’ movement aiming to help normalise acne on social media by sharing accounts of her own battle with acne and photos of her own skin.

And, it seems Lili plans to use her position as a COVERGIRL ambassador to continue empowering other young men and women.

“I am pinching myself at the opportunity to represent such an iconic makeup brand and be the face of their newest line, coming very soon. As a COVERGIRL, my goal is to advocate for confidence & self-acceptance in a world where so many young men and women feel compelled to change themselves. I can’t wait to start this journey,” Lili shared in an Instagram post.

Lili is also set to be the face of a yet-to-be-announced collection for COVERGIRL, launching in June 2020.

Did you hear that Sophie Monk also has an exciting new beauty gig? She was recently announced as the face of a major cosmetics brand.
