There’s nothing basic about these beauty looks

London Fashion Week Spring 2020 is now under way and we’ll be the first to admit, we’ve been living for all of the fresh beauty inspo it’s had to offer so far.

But, there’s one particular trend we’ve seen on far too many runways to call it a coincidence…

Eye makeup is having a major moment.

This year, the London Fashion Week Spring 2020 beauty is all about the eyes and we’re not talking your classic smoky eye and winged liner looks.

From House of Holland’s epic glittery eyes to Victoria’s Beckham’s dainty graphic eyeliner, the makeup has been anything but basic.

Intricate eyeliner at Victoria Beckham

When viewing from afar, you’d be forgiven for missing this intricate eyeliner detail spotted at Victoria Beckham’s LFW show. But look very closely and you’ll notice that dainty, discrete lines have been traced above the models’ eyes. It’s reminiscent of a technique traditionally used by ballerinas to add definition to the eyes and we’re loving this delicate makeup touch.

Exaggerated winged eyeliner at Halpern

Winged eyeliner, but like you’ve never seen it before, was on show at Halpern. These graphic, exaggerated shapes are reminiscent of vintage sunglasses and we’re totally in love. Capped off with the tiniest glint of silver glitter, this a bold look that’s perfect for your next night out.

Glitter eyes at House of Holland

House of Holland went all out, dialling the glam factor up to the MAX with this insane raver-inspired beauty look. We’re thinking this vibe is just the beauty inspo you need for your next festival - or a Saturday night on the dance floor!
