Lucy Hale can’t get enough of this Korean beauty product

Lucy Hale loves this Korean beauty product

She just bought a whole heap of them

Fact: Any time Lucy Hale spills on one of her favourite beauty products, we’re SO there. Why? Not only are 99.9 per cent of our hairstyles inspired by her, the girl can seriously rock almost any makeup look – so we drink up any beauty advice she has to share.

The star, who has been travelling around Tokyo and making us excruciatingly jealous, gave us a heads up on one of her main beauty hauls of the moment.

Korean lip stains.

Wearing minimalistic, natural-looking makeup and pretty pink-stained lips, the former Pretty Little Liars actress posted the below selfie with the caption, “Korean lip stains. Bought em all.”

From innovative skin care products with unique ingredients (hello, snail face masks) and sunglass manicures, it’s no secret that South Korea’s beauty market is both expansive and enchanting. So when Lucy says she can’t help but buy ALL of the lip stains - we can totally understand her lack of self-control.

While we can’t confirm the exact brand of lip stains that she’s referring to, we do know that the perfectly ‘blurred lip stain’ look is SO on trend. And for good reason - getting a gorgeous lip colour that does not move and kind of looks natural? We’re down with that. Hello, eating and drinking without reapplying your lipstick a thousand times!

In an interview with Allure, celebrity makeup artist Benjamin Puckey said there’s actually reason behind the whole lip liner embargo. “I definitely think that it’s becoming a trend as a reaction to crazy over-drawn lips that we’ve been seeing these past years,” he shared.

“I think people are yearning for something softer and a little more romantic. A sharply drawn lip can look cool when balanced with more minimal makeup, but can also have a slightly aggressive feel.”

If you’re keen to get on board the lip stain trend, we recommend trying out Benefit Cosmetics Benetint Cheek & Lip Stain, 3CE Lip Marker and STILA Cherry Crush Lip & Cheek Stain
