Garnier SkinActive Pure Charcoal Tissue Mask Reviews

Here’s what our Review Crew® members thought of the Garnier SkinActive Pure Charcoal Tissue Masks

Beauty Crew Beauty Writer / October 22 2018

Garnier SkinActive Pure Charcoal Tissue Masks are a range of ultra-hydrating face masks that both purify and refine the skin with the help of charcoal for a radiant and healthy complexion. Garnier SkinActive Pure Charcoal Tissue Mask with Black Tea is formulated with black tea extract and hyaluronic acid to target oily to combination skin, and Garnier SkinActive Pure Charcoal Tissue Mask with Black Algae is enriched with black algae extract and hyaluronic acid to minimise the appearance of pores and improve the texture of the skin.

Our panel of Review Crew® testers put these two products to the test.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent the Garnier SkinActive Pure Charcoal Tissue Masks to women and men aged between 18 to 35 who are looking to target dull and dehydrated skin, excess oil or shine, and/or enlarged or visible pores.

The lowdown

Here's what the Review Crew® loved about the Garnier SkinActive Pure Charcoal Tissue Masks:

How easy they were to use: Reviewers loved how well the masks fitted their faces, with many noting that the adjustment slits around the edges allowed them to contour the sheet to their face. Some reviewers also commented on the plentiful amount of serum in the packet, noting they put the excess to good use by applying it on their neck and décolletage.

How the masks made their skin feel: A majority of reviewers who trialled the Garnier SkinActive Pure Charcoal Tissue Mask with Black Tea were happy to report that their skin felt soft, hydrated and refreshed immediately after using the mask. They also said that their skin felt less oily, without feeling tight.

How they made their skin look: Reviewers of the Garnier SkinActive Pure Charcoal Tissue Mask with Black Algae were impressed with the appearance of their skin, noting that it appeared healthy and glowing straight after using the mask. Some reviewers also commented that their pores looked noticeably smaller.

The verdict

“I must say I loved it. My skin feels soft, hydrated and refreshed. The product itself is fairly priced and of excellent quality – it’s thick and soaked with amazing serum, so it doesn’t rip or dry out as similar products have in the past. I’ll definitely be recommending to everyone and will be adding to my beauty regimen.”
