Gigi Hadid wore the vampiest lippie ever and we can’t look away

Gigi Hadid wore dark berry lips

It’s giving us major ‘90s vibes

Attending the New York premiere of Serena Williams’ documentary Being Serena, Gigi Hadid showed us a fresh take on the ‘90s blackened berry lipstick - and we just can’t stop staring at her pout.

The drool-worthy look was created by none other than celeb makeup artist Patrick Ta and it gave us some MAJOR retro vibes (The lips. The hair. The golden jumpsuit) with a delightful modern twist (thankfully no ‘90s skinny brows or OTT smoky eyes in sight!).

Instead, her striking lipstick was teamed with beautifully matte skin, contoured cheekbones and perfectly polished brows. To finish, Ta applied a slick of black winged eyeliner and highlighted the inner corners of Gigi’s eyes to add a soft contrast to balance the daring ox-blood lip colour. Did someone say winter beauty inspo?

Sporting a cool-girl topknot with some face-framing blonde strands, celeb hairstylist Bryce Scarlett completed Gigi’s look with a messy-but-ultra-sophisticated ‘do.

Although Patrick Ta is still keeping mum on the lip colour (for now, we hope), we reckon Maybelline New York SuperStay Matte Ink in Escapist looks like a damn close match. Priceline run anyone?

We also think NARS Audacious Lipstick in Bette and MAC Retro Matte Lipcolour in High Drama will get the job done, too.
