When you think of someone who epitomises the Aussie It Girl, i.e. bronzed skin, tousled waves and a glowing complexion, it’s hard to look past Lara Worthington. While the model and CEO of her own skin care brand, The Base by Lara Bingle, oozes effortless radiance, the busy mum-of-two has revealed that sometimes it takes a little more than her good genes to freshen up her complexion.

In this snap on her Instagram story recently, Lara shared the top nine beauty buys she relies on, as well as revealing why they’re such winners. Unsurprisingly, one of Lara’s top picks comes from her own brand in the form of The Base by Lara Bingle Velvet Bronzing Makeup Base, a multi-purpose product that works brilliantly as a tinted eyeshadow base. Additionally, when it comes to her eye makeup, the model says she swears by Rae Morris makeup brushes and shu uemura’s eyelash curlers. And it turns out she’s not the only one – the curlers also happen to be the Internet’s most loved for its ability to work on all eye shapes and sizes.

When it comes to skin care, Lara tends to rely on high-end brands to soothe, hydrate and soften her complexion. Her top picks include La Mer Crême De La Mer Face Cream, Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask and Sisley Paris Eye Contour Mask. To produce maximum results, Lara applies the eye contour mask on top of the cream mask to soothe her “tired mum eyes.”

Last but not least, the Aussie beauty shared her go-to hair products for tackling her mane. Lara is known for her tousled waves at any length and the products in her current stash come from celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin’s cult range Ouai (she loves her hair oil), Oribe Dry Texturising Purse Spray (the smaller travel size bottle is perfect for touch-ups on the go) and Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz Sea Salt Spray, which she says is a great texturising option for those who don’t like the crunch that many other sea salt sprays produce.
