3 ways to define your eyes with a wheel-tip liner

Advertorial: It’s the nifty eyeliner tool you need in your life

Eyeliner can be tricky at the best of times, let alone when it’s a liquid variety. As a result, a plethora of different formulas and applicators have been developed over the years to make the task easier for everyone. One of the latest innovations comes in the form of a wheel-tipped eyeliner, which resembles a tiny pizza cutter and helps you create a smooth line in one single roll.

To discover the different ways a roller-wheel liner can be used to define your eyes, we teamed up with Karima McKimmie (a beauty blogger with more than 243,000 YouTube subscribers), who shared her top tips for using the Revlon ColorStay Exactify™ Liquid Liner.

TOP TIP: Before you begin, make sure you shake the liner!

1

Draw a tightline

If you’re after an eyeliner look that suits any occasion, we suggest keeping things simple and only lining your top lash line. To do so, make sure you hold your hand close to your lashes and go slowly if your hand is feeling a little unsteady.

TOP TIP: A magnified mirror will do wonders for helping you keep your line as close to your lashes as possible.

2

Opt for a wing

A winged liner look is the perfect option for those wanting to up the glam factor a tad while still being daytime-appropriate.

To master a winged liner look, simply draw another line (after first tracing your upper lash line) that extends towards your temple. From there, draw a line down that connects back with your upper lash line – you should now have an empty triangle on the outer corner of your eye.

To finish your wing, simply fill the triangle in with your roller liner.

3

Go graphic

Eyeliner is perhaps the easiest way to add an edge to your overall makeup look, especially when you opt for a graphic or geometric design. To recreate Karima’s look, apply a coloured liner across your lower lash line towards the tip of the wing, making sure you keep the coloured and black wing lines separate.
