Margot Robbie knows how to nail a good nude lip. It’s just a fact. From glossy nudes to matte nudes, her minimal, natural makeup look is always on point - the girl has it down pat.

Just look at her:

*Swoon*.

Celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff is behind pretty much every one of Margot’s show-stopping red carpet looks, so whenever she dishes out some makeup advice, you’re going to bet we’re listening. Especially when it’s to do with the nude lip situation.

Pens at the ready.

In a recent Instagram post, Dubroff snapped a selection of makeup products she’s using as inspo for the Critics’ Choice Awards - including eyeshadow, blush, highlighter and four drool-worthy nude lipsticks. She captioned the shot: “Up early working on ideas for #criticschoiceawards2019 with some of my favourites @chanel.beauty @welovecoco #Workingwithchanel #WeLoveCoco”.

One follower by the name of @lady_myriamrancourt commented on the post, writing “Woowww. Though I wish nude lipstick weren’t on trend again this year. They are everywhere and look awful on my pale skin.”

So. Relatable.

Everyone knows that finding your perfect nude lipstick can be a HARD time. With so many shades and undertones available, picking a nude that complements your skin tone and doesn’t wash you out can feel like a task. What works for your beauty idol or bestie is pretty much guaranteed to *not* work for you.

Thankfully, Dubroff DELIVERED with this little slice of wisdom: “@lady_myriamrancourt find a nude that is slightly deeper than your natural lip tone”.

Is it really that easy? We’ve been over here trying to match it to pretty much *every* other part of our body!
