If you’ve ever found yourself binging Dynasty (where she played Cristal Carrington in Season 1) or The Baker and the Beauty (where she very fittingly took on the latter role), you’ll no doubt be very familiar with how stunning Nathalie Kelley’s skin is.
Not only does it look strikingly smooth and beautifully clear, but it also seems to shine with the light of a thousand suns – basically, her face ticks all the complexion goal boxes, and then some.
But while genetics obviously play a pretty massive part, there’s no doubt that Kelley’s skin care routine must also be a major player when it comes to the glow she’s showing off.
So, in the name of replicating her radiance levels, we went in search of the skin care buys she counts as her favourites, and boy oh boy, were there some gems among them…
May Lindstrom The Honey Mud Enzyme & Acid Facial Pudding
For argument’s sake, let’s just pretend that ‘facial pudding’ wasn’t all you needed to hear… Kelley loves this mud mask for more than just the name. "It’s non-toxic and its ingredients are really pure and natural which is a must for me. I don’t want to be putting any toxins on my face," she shared via marie claire. Wondering what those pure and natural ingredients actually are? The formula is made up of everything from raw honey and silver (lush, huh?) to white halloysite clay and aromatic plant oils, and it’ll leave skin plump, soft and purified.
Living Libations Ensorcell Serum
Once those impurities are taken care of, it’s time for a little nourishing hydration in the form of an essential oil-powered serum. "I love everything Living Libations does, because of their ingredients and because of their ethos with the environment,” she explained of the brand behind her favourite formula. As for the serum itself, it’s all about soothing concerns ranging from inflammation to acne while also brightening and moisturising the skin.
Lanshin Pro Gua Sha Tool
After serum comes a little massage action, courtesy of a gua sha tool handcrafted from authentic, natural stones. "I love to give myself a little gua sha facial everyday. It will release micro-knots in your face and kind of just soften the fascia and stimulate circulation,” Kelley shared. FYI, her favourite is created from nephrite jade, one of the oldest gemstones in the world.
Joovv The Mini 3.0
Kelley may favour natural formulas in the topical department, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t down to embrace high-tech tools, too. In fact, she loves this targeted LED treatment system for soothing and stimulating her skin. "Red light therapy stimulates the production of collagen in your skin. It’s really good to diminish the appearance of sun spots and lines,” she told marie claire. “And it’s also really good for your muscles. I also use it to spot treat every time I get a little bit of a psoriasis flare up.” It's over $1200, yes, so it's definitely an investment, but evidently it can aid a lot of skin issues.
