The new floral fragrances that you’ll fall in love with

It’s been a while since Lancȏme last launched a new scent, but it’s totally been worth the wait. Created by three female perfumers, the new Idȏle EDP is undeniably feminine and ultra wearable, thanks to notes of sparkling bergamot, yummy pear, soothing rose and jasmine, and a base of white musk. Kudos to the brand for sourcing their ingredients via sustainable and fair trade means, too; the hero ingredient Isparta rose petal essence is exclusively cultivated in Turkey for Lancȏme, and is turned into an absolute, a rose water and essences to ensure that no part of the flower is wasted.

For those that are fans of the heady YSL Black Opium EDP, rejoice; the French luxury brand has just launched another iteration of the iconic fragrance range - Black Opium Neon EDP. The special scent features the same opening note of coffee and orange blossom middle note as the original, but it’s the addition of tantalising dragon fruit that’s got us drooling. Think sweet and edgy; it’s even more wearable than the original, if that’s even possible. Psst… the brand has just launched a personalisation option exclusively on its site, so order now to get your bottle etched with your name, or even your mum’s (after all, Mother’s Day is just around the corner!).

With notes like crowd-pleasing jasmine muddled with sensual vanilla bourbon, you know you’re in for a real treat when it comes to Valentino Born In Roma Donna EDP. Formally classified as a floriental woody scent, we think it’s perfect for those that love blooming floral notes with a base that lasts (and lasts!) on your pulse points, as well as anyone who’s looking for something that’s equal parts edgy, cool and memorable.

There’s something about Maison Christian Dior Rouge Trafalgar that we can’t get enough of. Could it be the delicious fruity notes of raspberry, blackcurrant, grapefruit and mandarin, cleverly muddled with violet leaf and patchouli, that instantly puts us in a better mood? Or is it more the tall, striking bottle that really makes a statement on our dresser? We definitely think it’s a combination of both. We’re yet to come across a Poppy scent that we didn’t like, and Flower By Kenzo Poppy Bouquet EDP might just be one of our favourites to date. With floral notes like Bulgarian rose, jasmine and gardenia, combined with mandarin and a base of almond wood, it smells as incredible as it sounds.
