A'kin Desert Lime & Orange Natural Roll-On Deodorant

I was happy to find this deodorant that contains no aluminium as I have sensitive skin and this ingredient tends to irritate. I love the orange lime scent, it’s so refreshing and invigorating and smells divine. I love that this is a natural product and contains no parabens or nasties. This is an effective deodorant for controlling sweat and odour although I do like to reapply a little more later in the day just to freshen up and feel confident. This is a great deodorant for those with sensitive skin and I will buy this product again, it’s economical and gentle on skin

I have tried very hard to find a cruelty-free deodorant, that is also free of aluminum and parabens, AND is also effective. It is surprisingly difficult to find one with all three attributes. There are many natural and cruelty-free products, that just don’t work very well to keep you odour-free for the whole day. I’m not a particularly sweaty person, so this was something of a shock when I first started turning to cruelty-free deodorants. Another issue was that some natural deodorants actually don’t smell very nice themselves. Fortunately, I have been very happy with Akin deodorant since trying it. It is not only cruelty free but has a long list of ingredient exclusions – no parabens, no zinc, no mineral oil etc, so perfectly safe and natural. The refreshing citrus scent of desert lime and orange is a great way to start the morning, and the day ends without any nasty surprises, such as a deodorant letting you down! Definitely a repurchase for me.

A'kin deodorants are clinically proven to slow the growth of odour causing bacteria without all the nasty chemicals. I was really keen to make the change to natural deodorants but nearly gave up after the first week. I was unfortunately one of the unlucky ones that needed to go through a bit of a detox process before I really experienced the full effectiveness of this product. I am so glad I stuck with it. I chose A'kin because of their amazing fragrances. This one is called Australian Desert Lime & Sweet Orange, but it also lists Patchouli, Licorice, Lemongrass, Sage & Rosemary in the ingredient list. It is a refreshing scent that I believe works for both men & women. I find that it keeps me feeling fresh all day during the cooler months but during the warmer months I occasionally reapply during the day for a bit of added protection against odour. Although it does reduce sweating, it doesn't stop it altogether like other deodorants, but that is a good thing. It is 100% Australian made, vegan & cruelty free. I didn't experience any stinging or irritation, even after shaving. Works best when applied directly after a shower and if needed reapply before any odour develops.
