Feels lovely

I purchased a jar of Andalou's Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask because I have used other Andalou products in the past and have liked them. This mask is a little lumpy on application and there is a slight warming sensation. Overall I like the feel of the mask and the scent is very pleasant as well. It washes off easily. I haven't noticed any real improvement in my skin so far but I will continue to use it.
Hm...first mask from Andalou that I did not like so much. Before and after use my skin feels absolutely same , looks same and feel as the mask does nothing at all. Smells great (pumpkin spice) and texture and ease of use all great. But it is just so basic and do not feel that it has enough of glycolic acid there  to smooth my skin. Also at times felt my skin dry after use.  I have oily to combo skin, mid aged.
This product comes in either a jar or a single-use pod. I got the latter to try it out, and was able to use it twice as it was quite a generous amount. I'm not new to glycolic acid as I have used The Ordinary's 7% glycolic acid toner for a year on alternate nights and had no stinging whatsoever. Surprisingly, this product did sting upon application. It has a nice texture and does smell of pumpkin that I did not find unpleasant. The stinging worried me but it was tolerable, I persisted and it slowly went away after a few minutes as my skin recovered from the initial shock.  It dries a little with time, and washed off easily with water. I did not notice any immediate brightening but my skin felt soft. It's possible that I can't see any obvious difference as I already regularly use other chemical exfoliants and actives and just swapped out another exfoliant on the day I tried this product. However, because of the stinging, I'm not keen to subject my skin to this proudct continuously, and will opt for other chemical exfoliants.
I find this to be the strangest mask. I bought this on a whim and after one use rehomed it. I can see from other reviews people loved it. I just found it weird. The texture was weird. the smell was weird. It felt like sticky, lumpy glue on my face. It also felt like it was stinging when it was on. I like to feel a little tingle, but this was almost like a low key burn. After I washed it off my face look and felt no different. I was had a filthy washer.
I received a sample of this from Andalou a while ago and only got around to finishing the sample now. I have a number of Andalou products that I really like so I expected to also like this one but while it was OK, I don't think I will purchase a full sized jar. The texture is literally like mashed pumpkin, with lumps and all. It tingles and has a warm feeling on application. It exfoliates well and left my skin smooth, but wasn't as hydrating as I expected. I was just not a fan of the texture of the mask, I think it is just a personal preference though. It's a good exfoliater, but not particularly hydrating for dry skin.
I purchased this on sale a few months ago with quite a few other Andalou products. Some were winners, others I wasn't particularly thrilled about. This particular product was the definite winner of the lot. The Andalou pumpkin mask comes packaged in a sturdy hard plastic dark orange jar with a metallic screw top lid. The product is orange coloured and a puree like texture; much like baby food! The scent is a unique one;sort of like pumpkin spice. It initially felt weird applying this strange puree to my face and upon first use I nearly rinsed it right off after 5 minutes. It stung! Not in the usual tightening sense you get from clay masks,it  was uncomfortable to the point I thought I was having a reaction to it! Right before I was at the point of washing this mask off however, the discomfort stopped. Upon research,I have found this is quite common with this mask due to the natural AHAs involved and if you aren't really used to strong ingredients, you will most likely get a similar reaction for the first few uses. The mask was very easy to wash off which I loved as most take a bit of effort and usually require the use of muslin cloths.Just water and a little rubbing with my hands and this one was all gone. My skin was left feeling incredibly smoothed and feeling refreshed. It was slightly pink but that faded very fast. Really happy with this mask and use it about once a week now. I no longer get the unpleasant feeling on my skin that I had from first few uses. My skin feels resurfaced and like new each time I use this. . Absolutely great value for the product quality. Been using mine weekly for a few months now and still have about 30ml of the original 50ml left. My absolute favourite  product of the Andalou range
I first discovered Andalou a couple of months ago via site that was having a massive sale, and when noted the rose collection,i jumped on board....and got some products from other ranges as well. Now,for those new to this brand,Andalou is a beautiful range of natural skincare that targets just about any issue you may throw at it,and this product....Andalou Naturals Brightening Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask,is perfect for right now (what with winter ravaged skin, and spring on our doorstep, our skin is in need of some TLC). This is an exfoliating and brightening face mask, touted as for normal/combination skin, but any skintype would benefit from this...but what is it like ? This mask,in a bright and cheerful looking 50ml orange jar,is a collection of  skin care "must use" ingredients... fruit stem cells, vitamin C (to brighten) and glycolic acid (to exfoliate and deep clean pores),as well as soothing manuka honey (also an antibacterial) and of course, pumpkin (never had that in a product, but it sure felt amazing, and it sure caused laughs at home with it's"baby puree" pumpkin look) that worked together to create a tingling (i am a glycolic / retinol / lactic acid etc veteran,so this was nothing for me,BUT if you claim to be one of those with sensitive skin,,,,don't even look at this) that tells you this is one natural, but hard working product. After 20 minutes,i rinse this away, and am left with seriously glow-y,seriously cleansed skin that would give any facial from a salon a run for it's money (oh,and the scent....a spicy / warm / almost "white Christmas" nostalgic scent gives a warm and fuzzy feeling of times by a fireplace,so that sets up a spa type environment for you) that lasts for a few days after use.Anything else you should know ? Well: This does leave a pink glow after use,so don't be alarmed. This does tingle, when on and for a short time after....not painful at all,but if Glycolic is new to you, perhaps only leave on for 10 minutes (and get ready for skin that shows you that the time with this on was well spent) This is well priced,at under $25 for a few months worth of weekly use,and finally, This is great for anyone in the house that may be experiencing skin issues....from acne in teens to fine lines in us "40 somethings" thanks to that glycolic addition. All in all, give this a go to help ease you skin into the spring, and check out other products from the range as well. TIP:Try this before an event to get your glow on (but not too close....this may see you getting a breakout or two,so perhaps a week before).
My skin absolutely loves glycolic acid after years of incorporating it into my skin care routine (usually in a scrub form: Skinstitute's 14% Glycolic Acid Scrub). Being a mask-lover, I wanted something quite active, which would also brighten my dull skintone and create a glow. So after reading many great reviews of this mask, I decided to give it a go when it was on sale at Priceline. It legitimately smells like burnt pumpkin—almost spicy—which was quite strong when I first used it, but now I don't really notice it. The acid tingle isn't too strong but I wouldn't recommend this mask to anyone who has sensitive skin or has not tried glycolic acid before! I gently work it into my skin before leaving it on for 20 minutes and washing it off with a cold hand towel. The immediate result is smooth skin, feels light and clean. After using this mask twice a week for at least a few months I haven't really seen any noticeable difference in my skin's brightness or radiance. If anything, it's nice for an extra hit of glycolic acid but nothing really more. I would definitely try their other masks, but probably not this one again!
I received a small sample of this face mask from Andalou Naturals and was really keen to try it based on the rave reviews it had received, plus I adore anything with vitamin C in it! I'm obsessed with that glow! The sample was sufficient for three uses. I applied this after cleansing my face. It is a bright orange colour and is of a pumpkin puree texture. I applied a good thick layer all over my face. It doesn't really dry out like clay-based masks and remained soft on my skin. As soon as I applied it, I couldn't help notice the intense stinging on my face. I am not new to glycolic acids however at the time I had used this I hadn't used any for some time so thought it may be due to this. However, when I applied the mask again a few days later, I also experienced the same intense stinging. I do not recommend this for sensitive skin at all. I am used to using acids and had not even experienced such intense stinging before that I was tempted to rinse it off immediately however I persisted. The tingling does subside a little however it is still noticeable even until the time I rinsed it off 10-20 mins later.  However, the results are unmistakable and I had not received such similar results with more reasonably affordable brands. My skin was noticeably brighter and glowed, it was impressive. The stinging did yield results after all! The process to get there wasn't enjoyable especially when personally I feel "masking" should be an enjoyable and pleasant "me-time" experience.
Got a free sample of this when they were doing mail outs and I have to say it was divine! I love me a mask and this was super deluxe. My skin felt super hydrated afterwards and just what I need after a gym/shower session. Will definitely add to my 'must buys' list.
Love this Brightening Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask because I see results after use and it is very affordable. I use this mask twice a week and I would apply a very generous amount of product on my face for 20 minutes before rinse off. Immediately I can see my skin is smoother, looks brighter with radiant and looks good for the whole week.
I LOVE using face masks and have quite the collection, and this gem from Andalou naturals is one of my favourites! If you want a mask that exfoliates and brightens, then this one is for you. It is a beige/brown colour that isn't particularly appealing, but it does have a pleasant cinnamon scent. I apply a thin layer to my face and leave on for about 20 minutes. Upon application i do experience a slight tingle, but nothing extreme or uncomfortable. After i removed the mask, my skin has a definite glow and brightness to it.  At $23 i think it is well priced (and you can often find it on sale at priceline!), and i like the brand is organic, vegan and cruelty free.
I received a sample of this mask from Andalou when it first came out and I was super excited to try it out as I love a good brightening mask. This mask contains actual pumpkin puree and the consistency and the scent of the mask is just that - pureed pumpkin. I love pumpkin, so that was actually really fun for me. What I did find is that the glycolic acid concentration in his mask is quite high, so anyone with sensitive skin or just skin not used to the potency of glycolic acid is bound to experience irritation and redness. It definitely provides a lovely brightening effect to the skin and it left my skin feeling and looking clean and supple.
I love masks of all descriptions and apply them at least twice a week.  For the past nine months I’ve become increasingly interested in natural products so when I was introduced to the Andalou Naturals range the first product I purchased was the Brightening Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask    The Brightening Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask is packaged in an orange plastic jar with a silver screw-on lid.  The jar holds 50g of a pureed pumpkin looking mixture with an unusual pumpkin smell.  I love fragranced skincare but the smell of this mask took some getting used to.    When I first applied the mask I spread a nice thick layer over my skin and almost instantly experienced intense tingling.  My skin is not at all sensitive, and I am used to using acids, but I felt I had been attacked by a swarm of bees leaving bee stings all over my face.  I left the mask on for 15 minutes and then rinsed it off with cool water.    My skin had the wow factor – it looked almost new and was bright and glowing with amazing clarity.  I was hooked and couldn’t wait to do a repeat application a couple of days later.    Each time I have applied the mask I have experienced the intense tingling but I put up with this knowing that my skin is going to look and feel amazing once the product is rinsed off.    This mask is formulated with ingredients designed to ‘sweep away dull, dry surface cells, exfoliating and resurfacing skin for even tone, smooth texture and a luminous complexion’.  So, does the product achieve this?  From my experience, I would say a resounding ‘yes’ and I will continue to purchase the Andalou Naturals Brightening Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask while it is benefiting my complexion.       I definitely recommend this mask, but I would suggest that maybe anyone with sensitive skin should go a bit easy at first.
My absolute obsession at the moment! This contains little particles that help buff away skin cells. It also has a really nice tingle to it that isn't too intense so it would be great for most skin types. A definite repurchase in my future and I'm excited to try more from Andalou Naturals in the future.
Brightening Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask comes in a little 50g pot topped with a silver screw top - Easy to open and use. On opening the actual mask looked thick with a lumpy pie texture and is pumpkin orange in colour, the scent was rich cinnamon and pumpkin together- It smelt Delicious and I couldn't wait to try it. The mask was thick and rich on application and applied easily with one of my disposable makeup spatulas,I always use these because of hygiene. The Mask felt great on it was smooth and covered easily and I had only the slightest tingle on my sensitive skin. I wasn't worried by this as it was expected and it settled quickly. I left the mask on for 20 minutes before removing it easily with water and a halo pad. My skin had an immediate outstanding result it looked brighter, fresher and smoother. I was so impressed with the initial result as it gave my skin a lovely boost and I could see this was going to become a firm favorite and was special enough that I would highlight it with my friends. I have continued to use this mask twice a week and the results are continuing to give me the result I needed and wanted.  I have noticed a fading of my age spots a much clearer complexion and a definite glow. I have also had comments on how great my skin looks from friends and family. I have repurchased twice now and although a little pricey as the pot is a small 50ml I can justify the cost with the great results.
