Banana Boat Sun Comfort Lotion SPF 50+

I am very happy with the sun protection factor 50 from Banana Boat. I love the flip top lid, it makes for easy application. I squeeze the sunscreen into one hand and rub in with my other hand. The sunscreen is not thick and dense. Like other sunscreens I have used. I used sunscreen daily on my limbs, face and neck as drive lots. I have used this Banana Balt sunscreen when I am out in the garden and when out on a picnic. I am happy to report no sunburn. I would use this sunscreen on my teenage children also. I am bit particular about sunscreen application though, so I would make sure that they wait twenty minutes before entering the water and that they have not missed any spots; one teenager needs to concentrate on the back of the neck and ears. The other needs to concentrate under the eyes and I am adamant that they reapply.

This Banana Boat sunscreen is great because it feels like a moisturiser going onto the skin. It rubs in easily and I haven't been sunburnt since using this. I like to use this sunscreen when I'm outside in the garden during summer as it's SPF 50+ so gives me maximum protection from the sun. It smells nice and doesn't leave my skin too shiny or greasy. I've used this sunscreen at the beach too and it is 4 hours water resistant. Just make sure to reapply it when towelling. I would recommend this sunscreen to families for use at the beach or pool.

I love this sunblock cream because it isn't as thick as some and absorbs quickly and easily. I love the scent and haven't been sunburnt since using this product.

A lot of SPF 50 sunscreens are really tricky to rub in, plus they can be messy and time consuming. Banana Boat Sun Comfort Lotion isn’t like that, because it feels like a body lotion. It has worked really well for me for both swimming, the beach, and just everyday use at work.

Banana Boat Sun Comfort Lotion SPF 50+ contains everything that I need in a sunscreen: 50+, broad spectrum UVA/UVB and it is water resistant for up to 4 hours. The consistency made it easy to apply, nobody had a reaction from using it and most importantly nobody got sunburnt burnt. We have been using this brand for years and we will continue to use it.

This is my very favourite beach-time body sunscreen!  It really is comfortable to wear just as the name suggests.  It has a light, gorgeously summery scent which I love.  This isn't just my own favorite sunscreen but has also become my 18 and 20 year old daughters favorite sunscreen too.  It's fantastic the way the sand does drop off the skin easier than it normally would and that's just a bonus because the great thing about this sunscreen is that it isn't sticky at all - It's so easy to forget I've even got it on.  It suits my skin (which is quite tough!) but it also suits my 20 year old daughter's skin which is extremely sensitive and atopic - she has eczema-prone skin which is moisture-thirsty.  If her skin can love this sunscreen then I know it must be excellent for anyone.   I like the yellow sunny colour of the bottle - it's a happy colour like the way I feel when I'm  heading out to the beach or just for a swim on a warm day.  I find this sunscreen lives up to it's promise in staying water resistant for the four hours and I never get burnt with it on.  My skin stays fully protected with it's broad spectrum SPF 50 and it also feels nourished and moisturised the whole time.   My best tip is this:  I find that this is available in Woolworths and some pharmacies but it's not available everywhere (because I have looked!) - it seems to be quite an exclusive sunscreen which is only available in some places.  That is why I am mentioning this here in this review - so it's easier for you to know where to look for it.   When you do find it, enjoy!  I will be continuing to re-purchase this sunscreen - it's the best one I've used and I've used a lot of different sunscreens over the last 45 years.  

This sun screen is great. My husband and I both use it. I suffer from eczema on my arms and hands, and I don't find this to irritate me whatsoever.  It doesnt feel greasy or heavy on the skin. It sinks in quickly which is great for when you just want to get up and go.  I love that it offers such a high level of protection, we havrnt had any issues with burns.  The bottle lasts us quite a while with daily use especially in the summer. 

This is an incredible sunscreen! I love that it is SPF 50 and 4 hours water resistant. Living in Australia it is so important to protect yourself from the sun properly and this sunscreen succeeds in that. This sunscreen isnt super greasy, and is very easy to apply. I find that this product is great for my sensitive skin. Would definitely recommend!!

I love this high protection sunscreen for all day protection. the spf 50 is great for full protection and I love the moisturising qualities of this lotion. I have long been a fan of banana boat products and this delivers total protection without being greasy or sticky. It sinks in well, it smells great and comes at a great prce, so apply liberally, wear a hat and enjoy the sun without worrying, a great product I highly recommend

Suncomfort by banana boat is an easy to apply 50+ sunscreen, the packaging is appealing with its bright summery yellow colour and clear labeling. The cream glides on my skin easily, it has a non greasy fomular reducing the amount of sand which sticks to my skin, makinv this the perfect addition to any beach bag. The sunscreen has a pleasent odour. As a 50+ sunscreen it offers the best protection for my and my families fair skin, it helps reduce the damage caused by the sun and is prefect for everyday use.

I received a sample size of this in the Summer Parcel Edit. As a fair skinned red head with two small children, 50+ sunscreen is an everyday staple for my family. However, I dislike the feeling of most sunscreens. They are usually greasy and attract every piece of sand, dirt or hair. The Banana Boat SunComfort is a chemical sunscreen that has a light feel, absorbs easily into the skin and does not leave a greasy residue. The one problem I would perceive with this sunscreen is that with the ease that it absorbs into the skin, it might be easy to under apply. So take care to apply the recommended dosage.  It has a light, but pleasant scent, so might not be suitable for sensitive skin types. Once I exhaust my current stash of sunscreens I will definitely purchase this.

I wasn’t overly excited when I received a sample of this product, but my opinion soon changed once I used it. This sunscreen is amazing! Firstly, it ticks all of my boxes for sunscreen; SPF 50+, broad spectrum UVA/UVB, 4 hours’ water resistant and it isn’t greasy or hard to rub in. What I didn’t expect was the lovely scent. Banana Boat has managed to disguise the traditional sunscreen smell with a heavenly tropical, pina colada scent that *almost* makes you feel like you’re sipping on one in an island paradise. It’s so beautiful (and unexpected!) that a friend commented how much they liked the scent. My whole family has used this product (including my toddler, whose sunscreen I am very picky about), and there hasn’t been any adverse reactions or sunburns. I have a lot of sunscreens on the go, but I always make a point of choosing this one. I would highly recommend this product, especially if you don’t like the usual smell of sunscreens. Two thumbs up!

Its great it does its job, I didn't get sunburnt and the formula isn't too thick. However my Mum (Who has incredibly sensitive skin) had a reaction to this product so I would recommend doing a patch test before you use it on sensitive skin.

SPF50+ is important to me, and I think this one delivers. It's not too sticky and I've never had any issues using this. I don't expect miracles though, I do still try to stay physically out of the sun as much as possible, but this helps protect my skin during periods of exposure.

The days of worrying about sunburn are over. Apply this fabulous product and enjoy your day in the sun (but still wear a hat of course!!)
