Bioderma Hydrabio Ultra-Concentrate Hydrating Serum

I have both glycolic acid and retinol in my ritual (yes, you *can* use AHA and retinol together). A good level of hydration has really helped my skin to tolerate these actives. After many years of trial and error, I now do hydration as the last steps of my sequence. Morning and evening, I finish off with a mist, a hydrating serum, and a moisturiser (plus or minus sunscreen). I finished 2 bottles of Bioderma Hydrabio Serum. It gives me the hydration I need without clogging my pores (I have easily congested skin so this is important). It is light, non-sticky and works well with other products. Do I like it? Yes, but I can't say it is my go-to because this serum has a rather heavy silicone feel to it. Not that I have any issue with silicones, but I feel that I already have a good dose of silicones from my moisturisers so I prefer serums with a "watery" texture.

I have always loved Bioderma skincare products and this is no different. The pros: This serum is creamy, spreads easily on the skin and leaves my skin hydrated, plump and smooth. The lightweight texture makes it suitable for anyone, especially those with oily skin types The pump packaging makes it convenient to travel with and hygienic. Short and simple list of ingredients that makes it suitable for those with sensitive skin types The con? I can only think of one.. The price. I do wish Bioderma products are a little more affordable but the quality is good for the price. I definitely will repurchase this serum again! Definitely would recommend it for anyone who loves a hydrating serum.
