Bioderma Cicabio Pommade Soothing Repairing Ointment

I've tried Avene's Cicalfate and La Roche Posay's Cicaplast, so was extremely excited to try Bioderma's Cicabio. I had previously heard good things about it and it did not disappoint. This is a really great multi-use product which is super nourishing and repairing. I have very dry skin and it seemed to really enjoy this product. Texture wise, it is more on the runny side like La Roche Posay's Cicaplast which means it absorbs very easily into the skin. As it has hyaluronic acid in the product, I find that this product is more hydrating than its Avene and La Roche Posay counterparts. Therefore, I think it would be great for someone who wants hydration and skin barrier protection. I also love that it is fragrance free and works quickly to repair the skin. Great product!

Bioderma Cicabio Pommade Soothing Repairing Ointment has to be the only cream that actually works. I was so impressed and the results of my Daughter"s mouth. She has a nervous tic of licking around her mouth (resulting in a angry red eczema like rash around her whole mouth area), She applied a layer around her mouth before going to bed. In the morning the rash was completly gone. So impressed. We finally found the only product, in years, that actually works and works fast. This is a one stop product that does everything all in one!! I initially had no idea what this product did or how it can be used but with a quick google search I found out the best ways to use it! I have found this product so beneficial and multi-use! My partner is a football player so cuts, bruising, abrasions etc. are a common occurrence and this has been a great product to use! We have also been using it to help as a barrier for our dried skin in winter and it been super hydrating! Again another great use which doesn’t break us out either! You only need a small amount so it will last a decent time too! This product has become a staple in our house and I will continue to use!

I received this product to trial from Beauty crew . I was excited to try as I had a peel booked in for my skin and wanted to use something soothing on it afterwards. I tried to use this a couple of times. unfortunately each time it broke me out. I do have oily skin so I think this was just too Greasy and blocked my pores. I recently tried it again just to make sure I wasn’t breaking out from the peel, but my skin was congested again the following couple of days. This would probably work best for someone with dry skin type. Thank you beauty crew for the trial!

I received this product as a part of the review teams and must say it came at the perfect time! My 6 month old son is suffering from terrible teething rash on his face, and this soothing and repairing ointment has been a lifesaver. It acts as a barrier which is great for the winter chill, but also has ingredients that repair his dry cracked skin and make it feel so much smoother. It’s awesome to know that it is so versatile and can be used on both my baby and myself. Super thick and oily - but in a good way!

I've been using this product throughout the winter, and it's been a game-changer for my dry, chapped skin - especially around the face area as my nose and lips tend to dry out easily during harsh winter weather. The creamy texture feels luxurious as it glides on, leaving a silky finish that's incredibly satisfying. The product stays on my skin longer compared to other products I have used and really seals in the moisture. If you're dealing with winter-induced dryness, this cream is an absolute must-have.

This is such an interesting product! I expected it to be a super thick and unbearable cream but it's very different to any moisturiser I have tried before. It comes out of the tube as a white cream but as soon as you start massaging it into your skin, it turns into sort of a moisturiser oil hybrid product. It definitely isn't suited for use under makeup because of its consistency but using it at night after your serums is perfect and you wake up with skin that actually looks hydrated. This is such a staple product for the winter months when my skin is really dry and dehydrated.

I trialled this as a member of Beauty Crew and it has become one of my skincare staples. The Bioderma Cicabio Pommade is a soothing and repairing ointment that is a must-have for me as it is multi-use for the whole family. It works so well for skin irritations, dryness, damaged skin and to soothe dry and chapped hands overnight especially during the cold winter season (this is my favourite use for it!). It is a bit greasy as it is thick, but I tend to use it at night so it doesn't bother me. Reasonably priced and very effective I would look to purchase in future as I don't want to be without it!

This is a really heavy duty ointment for when your skin is in dire need of repair. Being so dry and sensitive I like to use this as a final layer at night anytime I need a boost. This is like slugging but with beneficial ingredients. While it is greasy and a bit sticky it’s worth it for the repair this is able to achieve over night. It’s very occlusive and helps my skin retain moisture while soothing irritation. Especially helpful during winter and more affordable than other comparable balms. If you have oily skin you might prefer the cream version to this one.
