I found all the shades to be really pink. If that’s what you like then that’s awesome, but I was hoping for some more neutral tones when I purchased this pallet. However, the soft formula is beautiful and blendable. There is a mix of shimmer and matte shades in dark and light tones which is great, plus a lovely shade for brow highlighting. The compact design is chic and portable.
The first thing I want to say is that this is the coolest eyeshadow packaging I have ever come across!! The mirror can twist both ways and the design is so sleek and beautiful! I also love that it's a long palette because it fits into my handbags better. I find all of the shades very pigmented and easy to apply. They feel nice on my eyelids and don't crease or get caky which is amazing. My favourites are the sparkly shades because they are insanely beautiful and I feel so fancy with them on! There is also a highlighter shade that you can use on your brow bone, cheekbones and cupid's bow. So so versatile and pretty! Would highly recommend this palette! Pros: - Beautiful colours that range from matte to pearlescent to glittery - Pigmented - Lasts for the whole day - Minimal fallout - Includes a gorgeous highlighter shade - Easy to apply - Fun packaging! - Affordable
This palette is so pigmented and long-wearing! All the colours are so easy to blend and they work so well together. I also love the long mirror which is included which can twist in both directions- so useful to have in your bag! The design of the palette is stylish and practical where you can move the mirror in different angles. The shades are great for Day to Nightwear, from neutrals to a pop of sparkle! I love how it is super pigmented and soft in texture. I would definitely recommend this for people who want to experiment with a gorgeous range of eye makeup looks.
This is a simply beautiful eyeshadow palette. I love this French cosmetics brand, for anyone who has not tried bourjois products I highly recommend them. This palette is packaged beautifully, it looks so luxe and is a steal st under $30.00. It delivers the same results as a much more luxurious palette. I love the addition of a mirror and the brush is top quality and really professional, it makes application super easy. The colours are just gorgeous, quite natural and with just enough shimmer, so flattering. They blend well together and the pigment in the shadows is of a high quality. I found the shadow lasted all day without melting, going cakey or creasing. The cream to powder finish has a range of different finishes with a little glitter thrown in, great for night. The colours are highly blendable together and highlight and contour perfectly. I absolutely adore this palette and would purchase it again. I highly recommend it.
I’ve always loved everything beauty and makeup and skin care, for anyone who knows me it’s obvious and no surprise at all. But lately, maybe because of all the makeup pages I follow on Instagram with their super fun and easy to follow tutorials, I’ve become a lot more creative and fun with the makeup looks I create and practice on myself. Something I’ve really got into lately that I was not really interested in before is the eyes. I’ve always been into flawless skin, blush/bronzer and lips but all I really put on my eyes was a little mascara and eyeliner. Now thanks to the likes of Huda beauty, too faced, Charlotte Tilbury and Ciate, who are bringing out such beautiful, creative, bright and super easy to use eye palettes, with beautifully pigmented colours, well I’m having so much fun creating and making up looks on my own peepers. As much as I would have liked to have bought the new Huda Beauty nude eye palette, I couldn’t really justify the price tag at this moment in my life, so when I saw this cute Bourjois nude eye palette at a fraction of the price at Priceline, I quickly snapped it up. It’s such a cute and pretty looking palette, with an array of lovely neutral, pink, even a gold and glitter shade, excellent for every day and even night time use, so variable. I was super excited to get my real techniques shadow brush into the fresh palette for the first, and definitely not the last time. After double cleansing and applying serum and moisturiser, primer and a light, even cover of foundation to hide any imperfections, I got started on my eyes. I covered the entire lid and up to the brow bone with the pale pink shade, blending well. I then applied an even line of the glittery gold along my lash line on the top and bottom, blending well again and I was done with both eyes in just minutes. A couple of coats of mascara and my quick flick eyeliner, lanolips in coconut on my lips and my natural but fun day time look was complete. I was immediately impressed with how easily and beautifully smoothly the eye shadow applied. I only needed a tiny amount for each eye, it spread and blended so easily and it lasted all day long until my evening routine. I’m a beauty and makeup girl through and through, it’s my passion in my life and what I eventually want to do with my career and now that there’s an array of beautiful and affordable palettes available, the sky is my limit with all the beautiful looks I can play around and experiment with every single day.
