Had seen these products all over social media. I was a bit hesitant to try them at first.. but my mum got some and raved about it. So i got on the band wagon too and i just love these products. The shampoo is fantastic. It left my hair feeling clean and fresh without leaving my hair too dry like some shampoos. It is a bit pricey compared to some shampoos but worth it for healthy hair.
If I could rate this 10 stars I would! Superior product compared to other hair growth products I’ve tried. Dramtically reduced my hair fall and I noticed new baby hair sprouting along my hair line. Made my hair feel ridiculously soft and shiny. Love that it’s clean too without silicones or sulphates. Big tick from me.
I love these products! After seeing it on social I've been interested to see what the hype was all about. I have dry damaged hair and it definitely helped reduced breakage and split ends. It made my hair feel soft and nourished. My friends noticed that my hair had more shine and commented that it looked longer. Overall, very happy!
I love that this is free from parabens, DEA agents and sulfates, however the addition of essential oils can be irritating to some people with sensitive scalps.
My hair is quite fine / thin and this shampoo really added some bounce and didn't add any weight, which some shampoos do. As a cleanser though this is definitely not a deep cleaner and would not suit someone who wore a lot of product in their hair.
It's a good product but not a stand out for me.
I really love the HG Shampoo and Conditioner from Bondi Boost. I've been using it for a month now and I've noticed a drastic difference in the condition of my hair. Due to the harsh winter conditions in Australia, and the super hot summers, my hair has been a mess this year and has become dry and straw-like. I have long, straight hair just below my waist. The first time I used these products, my hair became luscious, soft, shiny, smooth and super healthy feeling and looking! I even got compliments and people were touching my hair. Definitely attribute that to the shampoo and conditioner. My hair is so much more nourished and soothed. I've gone off to buy other Bondi Boost products and they've all been of great service to my hair. I without a doubt have noticed hair growth as I'm going for a trim soon as I feel it growing very long. The light minty scent is non-irritating, gentle and calms your hair and scalp. Overall I highly recommend this shampoo if you're looking for simple, natural, effective and fuss-free haircare that will give you enviable and super healthy hair!
So, I've been seeing Bondi Boost all over social media recently, and I was delighted when this was, and the conditioner, turned up in a recent delivery! This comes in a large amber plastic pump bottle, and has a white label complete with fronds on the front of it.
With that in mind, I was expecting a different scent to what I got when I initially pumped some of the product out. The scent is actually quite minty, which makes sense in light of the ingredients. Mint is meant to help revitalise the scalp and encourage hair growth, and there are other hair nourishing ingredients included in this shampoo.
This doesn't lather up hugely, and I find that I need to use about two lots of shampoo in order to wash my hair properly. I haven't found it to help with hair growth, and sadly, this leaves my hair feeling a little dry, while smelling great. It functions ok, but it's probably not entirely suited to my hair type.
This shampoo is housed in a pump bottle. It's clear and thick consistency lathers well. You dont need much product and it goes a long way, i imagine that this bottle will last a while.
It is meant to promote hair growth but it hasnt done that for me during my postpartum hair loss! It has a mint scent which is refreshing but stings when you get it in your eye.
I love trying new hair products as I have very problematic hair. Oily scalp, dry, frizz, brittle ends you name it.
I like the packaging of these bottles as I found them to be quite monochrome and suit my bathroom well, and not to mention the huge 500ml bottles they come in. I was a bit skeptical however due to the heavy social media presence of the product and whether or not it would actually work. I loved that it contained organic ingredients. I expected it to smell tropical or coconut but it actually has a quite strong peppermint scent to it. I use this shampoo twice and find that I need quite a lot of it to lather up my hair enough to actually clean it. I was happy that it didnt strip my hair colour from my hair but I didnt find that it did anything different than a regular shampoo. I was not a fan of the conditioner for this brand so wouldn't continue to use the shampoo.
My hair is quite thick and curly and prone to frizz. I have struggled to find a decent shampoo that caters to my hair, one that doesn't ry my hair out further and leaving it looking like a fluff ball. This shampoo was lovely and really did the trick. It wasn't harsh on my hair yet cleansed product build up, sweat and what not out without stripping my hair's natural oils. My hair was softer after using it. I used it 3-4 times per week as recommended. The amber pump bottle is very cute and the subtle, lovely peppermint scent is delicious! I highly rate this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality, natural shampoo that doesn't strip or fuzz naturally curly, thick hair.
The Bondi Boost shampoo comes in an amber coloured plastic bottle with a pump for dispensing the shampoo. It's a cute enough packaging and I like that the pump spits out just the right amount of product - not too little, not too much.
The shampoo is a clear gel that has a subtle menthol scent. It doesn't lather up very well so I foam it up between the palms of my hand and apply it at the roots to give my scalp a good cleanse. Once rinsed off, the shampoo leaves my hair clean and smelling gorgeous.
I noticed some flaky dandruff but it could be the winter weather. Overall, my hair looks clean, shiny, less frizzy and smelling great. I'm not sure about its hair growth abilities as I don't think the length of the trial was enough time to make a difference for me.
I was really excited to try this shampoo as I had heard and seen a lot of great things about this brand! Unfortunately it did not work for me. I have medium, textured coloured hair and usually use a lot of moisturising products for my hair. I used the shampoo a few times and found the formula to be quite drying. I thought it may be the weather however after a few times using it my ends felt 'straw' like and felt like it was knotting up. I even used a different condition hoping that it would balance out but unfortunately it didn't work for my hair.
I really loved trailling the Bondi Boost HG Shampoo. The peppermint scent is wonderful, although a little strong at first, it lingers gently after your hair dries. The consistency is a little thinner than what I am used to, but is easy to work into the hair and scalp.
My hair is naturally quite thick, frizzy, oily and unmanageable, and I really experienced some great results with using both the Bondi Boost HG shampoo and conditioner. My hair was much smoother, and the shine that these products gave my hair was incredible. I would have to say that I would need to apply the shampoo, work, rinse and repeat to really be able to get a great lather, however the results would last for 2 days before I would need to wash again.
I would definitely seek these products out to purchase.
The packaging is fantastic, very economical 500ml pump and easy to distinguish shampoo from conditioner due to very different black/white labels (important as I’m often in a hurry). The scent is divine, a delicious minty fragrance that reminds me of Christmas and candy canes each time I use it!
My pump dispenser didn’t work for the shampoo, it would depress and not come back up again so I had to manually pull it up each time which was annoying. The conditioner however had a different pump and it worked fine.
The shampoo lathers well if you apply once, add some water to the scalp then apply again. It cleanses very gently, and if you have product build up or gym-dirty hair then you will find it doesn’t cleanse enough (to remedy this I used a different shampoo first then applied Bondi Boost after a workout). I like the tingly feeling my scalp experiences both during and for some time after I have use the shampoo, I can feel the circulation boost which I know helps improve hair growth.
For the record my hair is long, thick, dry, naturally curly(which I straighten as I don’t have nice formed curls, just messy knotty ones and my hair is also coloured (ash brown). I found that when I use this shampoo my hair felt a little stiff after rinsing, but usually following with a good conditioner fixes that. When I follow with the matching conditioner my hair feels fantastic and because the cleansing was so gentle it didn’t strip the colour out of my hair.
The growth promises on the product I feel need a lot more time than we were given for this review (one month) but I am confident it will happen as my hair looks and feels healthier, smoother and shinier. My daughter has been using this duo for 6 months and her results are fantastic.
This shampoo looks really great, quite on trend with the inclusion of essential oils.
When I use it, it doesn’t lather very much and I am guessing it’s because of the essential oils so it’s more natural.
It smells quite natural which is nice.
At the end of the wash, my hair feels ok, it doesn’t feel spectacular but just average.
After seeing Bondi Boost products on social media, I was very excited to see them in the crewkit to test out for myself. First of all, I like that the products come in plastic, pump packaging, that they are Australian made, aren’t tested on animals, and are paraben, sulphate and DEA free.
Both the shampoo and conditioner include a lot of essential oils, and I found them to have a very strong mint scent, which I don’t love. While I didn’t experience any irritation from the essential oils/scent, it is worth noting that my husband also used the products and did experience some tingling. I needed to use quite a lot of the shampoo in order to spread it evenly throughout my hair and it was difficult to lather. After use, I found this shampoo to be quite drying.
While the shampoo is marketed for all hair types, I think that those with very fine hair (like myself) may find that it a bit drying, and people with sensitive skin should be mindful of the essential oils. Overall, I didn’t love the shampoo and didn’t notice any positive changes to my hair.
After receiving This I am sad to say that I didn’t enjoy the product as much as I thought I would. I found the product was very thin and didn’t cover my hair as well as I would like to due to me having thick hair. I found that since I needed a lot of product to cover my entire head that I was running out of the entire bottle quicker than I expected.I would recommend this for people who have maybe thinner hair or short hair so they wouldn’t require as much product to cover their hair. However I have to praise the smell of this shampoo it was a refreshing peppermint and it lasted while I was shampooing my hair and even after which is very hard to find with shampoo so I was really happy about that.
I was lucky enough to receive this (with the matching conditioner) as part of my SUPERcrew kit.
I hadn't actually heard of this brand before but I am always excited to try new shampoo and conditioner sets as I am yet to find one I love enough to stick with regularly .
This shampoo comes packaged in a dark brown sturdy plastic bottle with a handy pump dispenser. The product is a rich gel like texture that smells nice and refreshingly minty.
I found it hard to dispense through my thick hair . I had to put individual pumps of shampoo throughout my hair as it just wouldnt spread. I had to use a LOT of product AND double wash before my hair felt clean .
I know this is a natural shampoo and that natural doesn't lather well (I expected that ), I'm not however, used to having to wash hair twice with a shampoo. It's a bit of an inconvenience and a water/time waster.
My hair felt nice after washing and drying . Clean, refreshed and soft with a nice pepperminty aroma.
My hair did not stay this way for long though. Within 1 to 2 days my hair was limp and oily again. A lot worse,a lot quicker, than it would usually be after a hair wash.
My hair also got dandruff and very itchy from using this for the first 2 weeks. It seems to have calmed down a lot now.
My dyed hair seems to retain color a lot longer whilst using this shampoo and my hair DOES seem to be growing faster than usual.
I feel this shampoo would be best suited for fine or coloured hair
Bondi Boost HG Shampoo comes in a plastic bottle with pump which is very use. The shampoo claims to encourage hair growth so I was hoping big from this. The shampoo has thick consistency and smells natural which I love. I am glad that shampoo is suitable for colour treated hair as well, and I have not noticed any colour stripping or fading after regular use of few weeks. It leathers well and rinses off easily without leaving any residue.
I apply Bondi Boost HG conditioner after using this shampoo. With the use of both products, my hair looks healthy and shiny. But sometimes when I am in hurry, I only use the shampoo. Surprisingly, this shampoo gives me soft silky hair even without using conditioner.
I have not experienced any hair growth or change in the volume of hair. I hope regular use will bring more improvements.
I was very excited to trial the Bondi Boost Shampoo as I had heard so many great things about the product. In my opinion it does live up to the hype. It comes in a generous sized pump bottle that is convenient for use in the shower. The shampoo has a fresh uplifting scent and it is paraben, sulphate and DEA free. It is formulated with argan oil and other essential oils which nourish the hair. After using the shampoo my hair was noticeably less frizzy and smoother. It felt soft and less prone to breakage after regular use. I will continue using it as it has helped to strengthen my damaged, colour treated hair and maintain healthier shinier hair.
I was really surprised with how much this worked on my super fine hair. I’ve struggled to grow my hair which was really brittle and damaged. This shampoo not only repaired the damage but my hair actually grew! Love that it has a pump for easy dispensing. It does leave your hair feeling dry but the conditioner softened the hair beautifully. Used in conjunction with the conditioner and miracle mask. Highly recommend.
