BOOST LAB 2D Hyaluronic Acid Hydro Boost Serum is a facial serum that helps hydrate the skin to fight the signs of dry, rough, dull and irritated skin. It forms a transparent film on the skin to lock in moisture, while strengthening the skin’s moisture barrier to soothe and reduce the symptoms of sensitive skin. Ingredients include:

- Natural Bio-Complex: forms a breathable layer over the skin while drawing moisture to quickly hydrate.

- Hydrolysed Hyaluronic Acid: deeply penetrates all layers of the skin while remaining light weight and deeply nourishing.

- D-Panthenol: strengthens the skin’s moisture barrier by attracting water into the skin. Most effective for those with sensitive skin as it’s calming and reduces redness.

All BOOST LAB serums are dermatologically tested for sensitive skin to ensure they are not only potent but safe for all skin types. To use: cleanse skin as usual in the morning and/or evening, apply a few drops of the serum to your face or hands before applying your favourite moisturisers and treatments as usual.

Good hydrating serum

This is a fragrance-free, water-based hydrating serum. Boost Lab is an Australian company and the product is made in New Zealand, and quite reasonably priced without sacrificing quality. The serum itself is a see-through liquid with a pretty dark blue tinge, packaged in a 30ml glass bottle with a dropper. The texture is not too watery or sticky, and is easy to spread. A few drops is sufficient to cover my face. I have experienced no irritation, just a soothing, quenching effect. It has a slight tackiness but absorbs quickly. It has the temporary effect of instantly plumping up dehydrated skin and crepey skin. Being water-based, it's easy to layer under other skincare and make-up, and it does keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. This formula contains two types of hyaluronic acid (Hydrolysed Hyaluronic Acid and Sodium Hyaluroniate), Chondrus Cripsus extract, panthenol (Vit B5), as well as glycerin which is a good humectant. Chodrus Cripsus is a type of red seaweed that's an excellent humectant, and contains lots of vitamins and minerals and has antioxidant properties, often found in K-beauty products. Hydrolysed Hyaluronic Acid is a low molecular weight, 'chopped-up' version of hyaluronic acid. Even though the exact size of this hydrolysed HA is not specified in the formula (it can vary), the lower molecular weight should penetrate further into the outer layer of skin compared to normal HA. Overall, a good hydrating serum that's not-irritating and very pleasant to use.

Great serum

I have normal to dry skin. I believe that this has made a great difference to my skin visibly healthier and hydrated. I use few drops for my face every morning and night before applying moisturiser. My skin feels moisturised and soft. I instantly noticed a plumpness on my skin, and my cheeks definitely felt a lot smoother. The texture of this product is so good to apply, just the right texture and it gets absorbed so easily. It definitely helped to restore my skins moisture level. This serum comes in 30 ml glass bottle. I like that it has the dropper make it easy to put a few drops on your hand when you use it. This is a clear serum doesn't have any smell. I would recommend this serum for any one who wants improve skin hydration for younger healthier looking skin.

New fave serum

I came late to the serum game. I really love this serum. It's so effective and right for my skin, not to mention reasonably priced. I use it every night after cleansing and my skin has never looked better. The product sinks right in, and after a couple of minutes I'm ready to add a final moisturiser which seems to be significantly more effective in conjunction with this product. The small glass bottle with its dropper is very easy to use and just the right amount comes out. I like that there's no scent, and that the serum is just viscous enough so it doesn't run off the hand. My skin seems to be smoother, tighter, and definitely more resilient and healthier looking. It's also very reasonably priced, which is great as I think this is going to have become a permanent part of my routine. I like that Boost Lab doesn't contain any petroleums or sulfates, is cruelty-free and has lots of nice ingredients like seaweed, vitamin B, and quite a good dose of hyaluronic acid. In spite of its efficacy, it's very gentle and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, in fact it seems to make my skin less reactive. All in all this is a great product - and one that I think will suit most skin types.

Boost Lab 2D Hyaluronic Acid Hydro Boost Serum

I do like having a HA serum in my collection, so had the opportunity to try one from the Boost Lab brand. This facial serum's main purpose is to provide hydration to the skin. It is not meant to replace any products but to add an extra moisture boost. The HA comes in a small glass bottle with 30 ml of product. The fluid consistency is dispensed through a dropper. The way I like to apply this serum is after spritzing my face with filtered water 1st. This makes for better absorption and means I also use less product. The serum sets with a tacky finish, but only momentarily because it then quickly disappears into my skin leaving no residue. I am in my mid-40s and have combination/dehydrated skin and have not experienced any adverse reactions. I am very happy with the results so far. My skin seems to appreciate the extra boost of hydration which at my age is important to reduce the deepening of fine lines. The Boost Lab 2D Hyaluronic Acid Hydro Boost may not be a one and done serum, but it's a simple step to add for the benefits that extra hydration can give.

Serum with two types of Hyaluronic Acid

I have been using the Boost Lab 2D-Hyaluronic Hydro Boost Serum on my 40 plus year old skin. I received a 30ml bottle to try. I have combination to oily skin. It's a glass bottle with an eye drop dispenser which I use to dispense about four drops on my pre-moistened (with hydrating mist) skin. After applying I have been using a facial oil. I have had no problems using this serum, my skin has been soft and smooth with no adverse reactions. Its not as plump as I hoped it would be. I've used it, I've liked it but it hasn't wowed me so I won't be purchasing it.
