I bought this blush a long time ago and stopped using it as the pigmentation isn't that great on my complexion being a deep tan. They also have shimmer in it which works well if your not bothered for highlighters on your face. I do wish they came in shades to suit deeper skin tones but they don't. This is a miss for me
Many Bourjois products have become staples in my make-up collection and their Blush Pots are no exception..i mean how could they not - they are French, they are insanely cute, they are inexpensive considering they were (not now i believe) owned by Chanel, and they come in such a wide range of hues that you are bound to find one you love. The instant i saw these,i got one.
As with the original blushes, this comes in the signature "little round pot" that fits into the tiniest of makeup bags,as well as the little brush that comes inside the compact (good for an emergency, not so much for actually applying the product initially),but this has two shades inside...one to contour and one to colour (i chose the duo "02 Romeo Et Peachette",how darn gorgeous is that name ? It is a peach blush with a deeper, bronzier tan shade to contour) that applies beautifully and wears for a good few hours before needing a touchup. The only little drawback i found is that there is a little shimmer to the contour that i am not in love with, but the pros outweigh that con,so i live with it...you may love that effect. The Overall design for both blushes is like the original...baked powder, that is very finely-milled with a silky smooth feel that works beautifully with the skin, lasting,as mentioned, around four hours on average.Another big plus is that he colour is highly pigmented,so a little goes a long way (great if you don't find one of the regular sales these are included in),and to be horribly vain about it,these have the most gorgeous scent (almost rose like, but not "in your face".It makes this blush even more of a pleasure to use).
So,dear reader,i can honestly say that if you are a Bourjois fan,you will love these, and if not...give it a try.At under $20 for the pot,it is on par with anything you can pick up in Woolies.
TIP:Make this do triple duty by using this as an eyeshadow / a lip colour and as a blush. You will have a co-ordinated look, and save coin.
This blush duo (or trio!) is brilliant! The two colours (light pink and dark pink) are beautiful individually, but when combined they make a gorgeous shade that would suit a variety of skin tones. You are supposed to use the colours to ‘contour’ your cheeks, but I tend to use them as a normal blush and apply to the apples of my cheeks and love the result. The colours are nicely pigmented and easily built up.
It’s a small product (only 2.4 grams), but it takes me forever to finish a blush, so I don’t mind the size. It also makes it great fort ravel or for keeping in your hand bag.I adore this product- it’s versatile, compact and you get 3 blushes for $20! Highly recommend!
