Saved me while I was on Isotretinoin

This is hands down my FAVOURITE lip balm. I love everything about it: the simple yet effective formula, the minty zing it adds to my lips and the flat tin that fits into my wallet perfectly. I've been using this for years before the real test came last year: I went onto Isotretinoin (Roaccutane) for rosacea acne and my once oily skin dried up like an inland desert. My lips were so dry and flaky that you couldn't tell where the lip ended and my skin started. It was painful to smile and talk and there were no products that provided enough hydration and relief. I found an unopened tin a drawer and honestly it changed my experience on isotretinoin! Once the lips were hydrated, everything fell into place. My only regret is that I didn't stock up on these little beauties before they got discontinued in Australia. I have to resort to Amazon to buy these bad boys from overseas at a ridiculous price.
I got given this as a gift, and love it!!! It's got such  cute packaging, easy to use and fits easily in my little makeup bag which i carry around.  I love that it's made from natural ingredients and makes my lips feel hydrated! It's not tinted and doesn't make your lips look too shiny. Perfect for guy or gal in winter.
Made with all natural ingredients, this lip balm is a colorless, no frills but soothing and nourishing product. With refreshing fragrance of peppermint, it feels slightly cool and tingly when applied. Because of the thick consistency it lasts for hours and provides good protection. The application part is bit tricky since it's flat in a tin not gooey enough to just get on your finger tip. Sometimes I even have to use a nail to scrap up bit of product and don't really love that part. But rest is a treat and this simple balm does exactly what it's suppose to - heal and protect chapped lips.
Nice thick product for an intense moisturising effect. I use it quite a lot and I'd compare the texture to Vaseline, but it smells like honey which is great. The peppermint oil tingles a bit and makes my lips feel lush, plump and moisturised, so I'd definitely recommend this to a friend, particularly in winter.
I have tried other products from Burt's Bees, and liked them, so I was interested to see what this one would be like. It was clear and colourless, which I liked, but I really didn't like the texture - it was thick and pasty, very hard to spread over my lips. It didn't seem to last for very long; I had to reapply this several times. I didn't like the taste either, very unpleasant. I won't be buying this product again; in fact, I think I will have to bin it only half used. So disappointed in this.  I honestly can't recommend this at all. Very unpleasant texture and taste.  I would give it no stars if I could.
Every girl, or guy, of any age needs at least one of these little pots of joy in their kit.  I have one in my car, and it's my go to balm whether I'm layering on top of a liquid lip or if I've just filled my lips in with liner and need some gloss, or just for some moisture and shine when I'm going makeup free.  I love the little pot and find it easy to open and a great size for my console.  The minty zing feeling from the menthol is a nice pick me up and lip plumper.  The price is perfect too, and the tin seems to be bottomless somehow.  Will repurchase over and over again.
I got this product a while ago because it wasn't the most expensive lip product there and I really REALLY like Burt's Bees. It is a product that sells very natural and long-lasting products. It's a small tin and therefore is easy to carry around and is really cute! I though, don't like how difficult it is to open the little tin. It seems like a really big effort to open a tiny tin but inside is a miracle worker. I also love the minty scent and how when I put it on, my lips tingle but feel so nice I want to just lather it on! I use this all year, summer, winter, it doesn't matter!
This is an amazing lip protection product. I adore burts bees products, this balm is really thick and quite waxy but matte and does not feel greasy which is great. I love that this product is all natural and super hydrating, leaving lips so soft. moisturised and nourished, I have been using this beeswax balm for quite a while for beautiful plump lips. I love the tin, so cute and fun. The addition of peppermint oil is a nice surprise, it leaves lips feeling fresh and tingly, along with vitamin E, lanolin, and coconut oil this balm is really conditioning. it almost feels like melted candle wax, really unusual. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend it
Let's face it...everyone wants luscious, plump lips like Angelina Jolie! But for those like myself who suffer from constantly dry lips, this product is an absolute must! I have tried endless products that claim to nourish and hydrate lips, but nothing has ever been as effective as this stuff. Working in an air conditioned building all day leaves my poor lips feeling and looking like deflated balloons, not to mention the effects that a harsh Tasmanian winter has on these puckers! The day I discovered this Burts Bees lip balm was the day that my lips finally got the TLC they needed. I find that a little goes a long way with this product, as it is quite thick. It feels more "waxy" than a regular balm, and it stays on the lips much longer than anything else I have used.  Although it is thicker and waxier, it is definitely not greasy, which I love. I also love that this product is full of natural ingredients and gives my lips a little tingle and lovely natural smell when applied. Burts bees is a brand that I trust and this product definitely delivers. I have been using this balm for well over a year now and my lips have never been flakey ever since. I ALWAYS apply it just before bed, as well as once or twice throughout the day. I find that unlike with other balms, I don't need to keep re-applying over and over again.  The balm comes in a cute little tin which you can pop into any bag or pouch, however be mindful of the fact that you need to apply it with your finger (so you need to ensure hands are clean). This is probably the ONLY very minor down-side, as I prefer a balm that is in the form of a stick and can be applied easily. Also, the tin can sometimes be a little fiddly to open. Therefore if I had to pick one thing to change about this product, it would be the packaging.  Overall I still give this 5 stars as the product itself is amazing and incredibly affordable.  So if your pout is in dire need of some TLC, or if you just want to keep your lips hydrated and kissable all the time, do yourself a favour and give this Burts Bees lip balm a try.
With Burt's Bees, I know with every product, it's going to contain natural ingredients. This lip balm is no different. It comes in a cute, flat tin and I choose to apply the lip balm by placing my lips directly on the lip balm. I find I am able to put on the lip balm evenly and not get my fingers sticky. The lip balm has a faint honey smell and it's really pleasant and does not smell at all artificial. The lip balm is really moisturising and keeps me lips moisturised for hours even in winter when there are cold and harsh winds.
Burt's Bee products are great because their ingredients are natural.  However this lip balm is like applying a candle to my lips.  It is a little hard to spread and apply.  I also don't like using my fingers to apply the balm and prefer a stick to apply.  The peppermint oil is a nice touch and the fragrance is not overpowering.  It gives the lips a cool tingle and wakes my senses up.
This is the original Burt’s Bees lip balm, super inexpensive, all natural, and absolutely effective.  The cute little tin fits nicely in a handbag and works well under and over lipstick without stripping colour and keeping lips soft and hydrated.  I love the peppermint scent and feel on the lips - I think that there’s even a slight plumping effect from the peppermint oil, and the many other oils - coconut, almond, lanolin and vitamin E all combine to make this really effective at keeping the lips hydrated, and I feel good about using it because no nasties.  Basically a winner all round.
