Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes With Peach and Willow Bark

I’ve recently finished using a full packet of these wipes and I will not repurchase in future. I have dry/ sensitive skin, and basically wanted something easy to help take my makeup off. I didn’t think these wipes had enough moisture or ‘wetness’. They irritated my skin and left me red and blotchy. Thinking this might be a reaction to something else I continued use, however this I now know is the contributor to my drying skin.

I am a massive fan of Burt’s bees products but I wasn’t a massive fan of these wipes . Burt’s bees products are usually fine with my sensitive skin, but these wipes left my skin red, blotchy and irritated after use. I also found them really dry, so it was hard to get a whole face of makeup off before the wipe was too dry to use, resulting in needing to use multiple wipes which doesn’t happen to me with other brands. I won’t repurchase unfortunately.

I was expecting a bit more from this facial cleansing towelettes, but good things first: packaging is relatively small, it has only 10 wipes insides and that makes it awesome to take on a small trip. The packaging was also really strong, it lasted multiple openings and still closed perfectly without letting the wipes drying out. On the negative side, I was hoping that the towelettes would be more moist. They were too dry and that result my having to rub my face really hard in order to get all the makeup off. I would not suggest for people with sensitive skin.

I absolutely love these cleansing towelettes. i love burts bees products and am a huge fan of towelettes for removing makeup as they are so effective and easy to use. These towlette cleanse, tone and moisturise so skin feels super clean and not dried out. the remove all traces of dirt, grime, makeup and oil, even a waterproof mascara. There are a lot of towlettes in a packet so good value for money and simple to use, just pull one out, clean and snap the flap back down to keep the rest fresh. They are super soft and gentle. A great product I would buy again and would recommend

The product is a slim design that is attractive and bright! I love the simple design. The scent of the towelettes is minimal and it has a soft, stretchy texture.  I had high expectations from this product as my sister loves to clean off her make up with these wipes.  Unfortunately, it does not pair well with my sensitive skin.  When applied, my face was stinging and felt irritated. I was left with a nasty rash.  I gave it another chance, but the same stinging and rashy result occurred. It was devastating, I had high hopes for this product.  - Who would you recommend use this product?

I'm a big fan of face wipes, basically invented for time poor ladies *putting my hand straight up in the air* because i am all about time efficient beauty products!  Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes are a beautiful large cloth. I utilise both sides - I do the first clean on one side then flip it over, to gently wipe away any left over makeup! A packet lasts a whole month and thoroughly removes any trace of makeup clean off my face. Make sure you close the lid so the wipes do not dry out, but if they do, just breathe life back into them by sprinkling water over the individual cloth! TIP -  oh and also - fun fact, i actually wipe down my sink once i've finished cleaning my face ... sounds a little weird BUT it cleans up any mineral powers or accidental toothpaste droppage from that morning :) 

These are a good size to hold and thoroughly clean my face. These soft towelettes are gentle and non drying and take off the day's dirt and grime off my skin without causing any irritation. The exfoliating is very gentle and doesn't feel harsh or rough on my face. These are more pricey compared to other wipes in the market, but you are paying for the natural ingredients and effectiveness of the wipes. I didn't really notice any particular scent or fragrance in these wipes. After using these wipes, my skin feels soft to touch and feels fresh and clean.  Pros: -removes my daily makeup, including foundation  Cons: -I don't use these wipes for my eye makeup, so for eyes, I use a separate eye makeup remover Tip: -after using these wipes, use a toner or micellar water to finish off your cleansing routine  -keep the lid tightly shut to ensure the wipes continue to stay fresh and moist
