Clairol Nice'n Easy

One of the best home hair colours I have used. I found the bottle ingredients combined easily and quickly. Product applied easily and covered hair well. The application process was easy and I felt no itching or stinging sensation that I have with some other colourants. I don’t have quite a lot of grey hair and I was surprised that this colour not only covered the great hair well but also gave it a really nice tonal blond colour and left hair feeling very soft and silky. Conditioner applied easily and had a very pleasant scent. Definitely among the best products I have used.

I loved this easy to use product. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Love, love, love the newer gloves, they feel great and are so much easier to use. No overpowering smell through the house. Colours exactly as per Instructions so read them carefully particularly If you have dark or long hair . If using a light colour you may need a toner for the yellow tones. The after care conditioner is nourishing and gives you enough to use a few times to care for your coloured hair . I will definitely recommend this product and purchase again. ............ you won't regret using this.

I was doubtful about using the hair colour at home. But the dark brown colour matched my hair 100%. Great coverage for grey hair.The colour is easy to apply and does not drip. The conditioner is amazing leaves the hair soft and silky and smells nice too. I have thin hair but the quantity was generous for thick long hair.The instructions are simple and easy to follow for a first time user as well. The shine it gives and gloss it gives to the hair is not achievable with any other brand. Overall a great box colour…

This was the first time I have used a permanent colour. I usually use a semi permanent, however I have more greys now and was looking for something to give better coverage. This was really easy to use. Simply mix the Colour Blend Activator with the Colour Blend Formula in the bottle provide until fully combined and then apply to hair. I have medium length hair and their was ample product to cover my hair. Two plastic gloves are included that protect you hands from the colour. I applied the product all over my hair and left it on for 30 minutes. I then rinsed this our and applied the CC+ ColourSeal Conditioner. This was really concentrated and I have plenty left to use as a once a week treatment. Overall I was really happy with both the experience and the result. It was easy and my hair looks great. The colour is even, dark and glossy. I used the Darkest Brown and I have medium brown hair. I wasn;t sure how much coverage I would get of my greys and after using this I think I could use a lighter colour in future if I wanted to. Great product.

This hair colour is Lovely and so easy to use. My hair is super shiny and makes my hair look amazing and full of life. The colour complements my skin and it has no brassy yellow tones. I used the colour four weeks ago and the colour has not faded, what a bonus. I will certainly purchase this again in the future. The applicator is easy to use and makes hair colouring fun and crusey. Hopefully it remains in the stores for all to use and it at an affordable price point. There is no horrible smells and works just like the instructions on the box.

I received this in the new packaging which gives it a fresh feel. The instructions and information on the box are still easy to read and follow and the light blue on the box seems like it would stand out on the shelves among the other dyes at the supermarket. I'm glad that they have not changed the formula on the dye as it is one of my solid favourites, it still comes with the tube of conditioner instead of a sachet which I absolutely love. Nothing worse than struggling with a little sachet in the shower. Will definitely continue to purchase this as it has a great price point and is super easy to use, with a great result.

Love love this colour it’s so easy to do it at home and the results are so amazing I am using this Color from long time and love it specially the new packaging of the colour. I love how it covers my greys I am 37 and going through the grey hair issue but after this product I am so so happy that how easily it cover my greys. I never travel without this Color in my bag lol. I used it so many times now and with great results always. My hairs after using this colour is so sleek, looks natural and bouncy. I use #5 or 5.5 shade it goes so great.

I received this hair dye to trial as part of the Beauty Review Crew. I have used this brand of hair dye a few times over the past couple years. In particular, I have used the shade 'Darkest brown' which is the same shade I'm trialing today. The shade has always been is a lovely vibrant colour and the colour result is similar to my natural hair colour. The dye promises to 100% grey hair coverage and it lives up to its promise. Preparing the dye for application is nice and easy. After applying the gloves that are included in the packaging, you pour the colour formula into the bottle of developer before placing the lid back on and shaking the bottle until completely mixed. It's that easy! Then starting at the roots, you evenly apply the dye. The dye goes on smoothly and, surprisingly, the dye scent isn't as strong as other brands. Other brands tend to have a strong chemical smell which makes my eyes water and nose tingle when breathing it in. Clairol have done a great job at producing a hair product with a low scent. One of the best things about Clairol's nice n' easy hair dyes is the short processing times. Unlike other brands that have a processing time of upwards to an hour to reach your desired shade, these dye have an average processing time of just 25 minutes. The short processing time means you can dye your hair during your lunch break, before a night out, or before a date, without it taking up too much of your time. The rinsing process is also quite a smooth and easy process. After applying some warm water, give your hear/head a little massage and then rinse until the water runs clear from all the dye. It normally takes around two minutes for the water to run clear. Then using the conditioning Clairol conditioning treatment that comes with the hair dye, you apply from roots to tips and leave for a couple minutes before rinsing. The conditioning treatment has a lovely scent and is nice and thick. It's almost like applying a luxurious hair mask. It glides onto the hair smoothly and evenly. After rinsing the conditioning treatment you can instantly feel how hydrated you hair feels. Dying your hair often dehydrates it and your hair can feel a little worse for wear. Clairol's hair dyes are gentle on your hair and the conditioning treatment prevents damage and keeps your hair hydrated and feeling lovely. After towel-drying my hair, I blow-dried my hair until was dry. Looking in the mirror you could instantly see how vibrant and lovely the hair colour result was, and it looked and felt really healthy. I am always so very impressed with the results every time and I often get compliments from friends and family members. As my hair grows fairly quickly, I use this product every 2-3 months to help cover grey hairs. Despite dying my hair so regularly, my hair has remained healthy and manageable, and hasn't compromised my hair in any way. The only downside I can mention is that the dye stains your skin. Normally hair spray or acetone on a cotton ball or cotton pad helps remove hair dyes from skin but I found this dye to be lot stronger and barely budged from the skin. I also tried scrubbing with soap and dishwashing detergent but the dye only faded slightly. It took a few days of scubbing before the dye faded completely. The best thing of all about Clairol's Nice n' Easy hair dyes are they cost just $9 from your local supermarket. Sometimes, you can grab them on special for just $6! SIX BUCKS! Now that's what you call a bargain! Why pay $200+ t an expensive hairdresser when you can get almost the same results for just $9.

I used the medium ash blonde. I didn't love it, jus because I didn't get 100% grey coverage and the hue was a little to orangey for me. Not enough ash ... but it is the same with most brands I'm afraid. The actual product was easy to use, in fact easier than most. I liked the bottle that the colour came in and the consistency of it. Less thick. The conditioner was nice and creamy and it has left my hair in softer condition than before. I also thought that that the image on the package could have been a better representative of an ash colour as I don't consider that colour to be a medium ash. So all in all, not the miracle product I'd hoped for but it might work better for others.

I was lucky to trial the Clairol Nice and Easy.The bright new packaging is an eye catcher..For the first time in many many yrs off trying different hair dyes, I found this one has actually covered all my grey hairs I had finally. The total coverage is amazing. The color is so vibrant The application was very easy. Easy to understand instructions. I noticed no harmful smells like other home hair dyes. I got to sample this product as part of Review Crew. The Clairol Nice'n Easy is easy to mix and apply at home hair colour for touch ups. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The applicator makes it easy to apply to the roots. I used it for my grey hair and Clairol Nice'n Easy gave good and lasting coverage. It includes conditioner which makes my hair soft and shiny. However, please check for allergies before using the product and wear hand gloves. My experience has been good so far and I will buy the product again for my hair care needs.

As someone that has used hair colour for many years both at home and in salon I am pretty confident with colouring my own hair. I always prefer a salon experience but at times it just isn't possible so a box dye can definitely tide me over with covering those pesky greys. I found this extremely easy to use, the instructions were easy to follow and the smell was not to bad in fact. I found the colour to be rich and warm, and did in fact cover my smattering of grey's that were peaking through. I always find my hair dries out a little after any colouring and I found this again but I found that but increasing masks and treatments it didn't take long to make it feel soft again. Very happy with final result.

Staff Review by BC's Tamara I'm not going to lie - I have greys. Lots of them. But the Clairol Nice'n Easy Permanent Hair Dye did a mighty fine job of making them disappear! I have actually used this dye in the past, and can't recommend it enough. The range of colours on offer is wonderful as there is something there for everyone. I have dull brown hair, so usually opt for a warm shade to brighten my colour - I used the Medium Chestnut Brown 5RB. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and after spending 10 mins applying the product as thoroughly as I could, it took a simple 25 minutes to penetrate before washing it out and conditioning. The colour completely covered my greys (which was my main objective), but overall my hair looks so much healthier as it is shiny and the colour has more life to it. My favourite thing about this dye is that the colour brings out the natural highlights I have and it looks really natural. At $12.99 the Clairol Nice'n Easy is a bargain as it is a high quality product and I would recommend it!

It’s an amazing hair color to cover your greys or color full head. Very easy to mix n apply with not very strong smell. Gives amazing color after wash and hair are soft and smooth. Would highly recommend. The packaging is great, all the instructions are described very well on the leaflet. Just follow and you end up with amazing hair. Thanks to beauty crew to give an opportunity to try this hair color as I was try another brands, but will definitely buy this in future and recommend to my near and dear ones.

An amazing hair colour. I trialled the Nice and Easy Reddish brown hair dye and it was so easy to use. Detailed and easy to follow instructions. The scent was not too strong and overpowering like a lot of hair dyes. The conditioner left my hair so velvety soft and smelt divine. The colour turned out better than I imagined and I have already purchased another for topping up because it was so lovely. A really amazing product that I highly recommend to anyone wanting a fresh new colour without the hassle and harsh chemical smell

I absolutely loved the Clairol Nice'nEasy hair dye. It is so easy to use and its great that it includes gloves and a brilliant conditioner to end with. I will be using this hair dye now instead of going to the hair dresser as I get the same results for a much better price. I love that I can buy it most places like the supermarket as it will save a lot of time. I would highly recommend trying it for yourself and seeing the impressive results. I found that it covered my greys and roots very well and my hair was so much more manageable afterwards.

I am one of the lucky one's to have received this product. I like the new packaging, it's eye catching and appealing. I have tried the product, its easy to use, mixes well and comes with a Conditioner, which is essential when using a hair dye. I used a shade of Brown, which is close to my natural shade, so it blended in very well. It covered all my greys and leaves your hair soft, well Conditioned with a fresh colour. Overall I am happy with the product, reasonably priced and there is a colour available for every hair shade. I need to colour my hair every 3 weeks, on my next grocery shop, this product will definitely be in my trolley.

The Clairol Nice n Easy hair dye is an excellent alternative to visiting the hair salon every 6 weeks! The dye made my hair so soft and shiny. It did an excellent job covering my grey hairs and darker roots. I loved the conditioner and would buy it separately if I could. The dye does have a typical chemical smell and I would recommend doing the patch test first. It was so easy to use and the box includes everything you need for a time saving colour. I would recommend it to anyone wanting an alternative to expensive salon visits and like the packaging says it certainly was Nice'n Easy!

My hair after using this product was so shiny for days as I received many comments from my work colleagues how healthy my hair looked. I look younger with this colour and I feel better within myself. Instructions were easy to follow My hair used to be dull and full of grey hairs but now The colour is un real as i used a brown colour. Would definitely buy this product. I only started home colouring during COVID. I hadn’t tried Clariol but was happy to try the light brown shade. The contents are very easy to use and the application was fast. Shake the mixture and start parting the hair and apply as you go along - no mess more fuss. Great consistency and goes on easy. Once on, I cleaned up and sat outside until 30 minutes was up. Washed up and used the conditioner. No reaction on the scalp and my hair had a lovely gloss and thickness too it. Still asking three weeks later, andI don’t think I need a retouch quite yet. Colour, outcome and product were great. Would use again and recommend.
