Clarins Calm-Essentiel Soothing Emulsion

This calm essential soothing emulsion from clarins was recommended to me for super soft smooth skin. The results I’m happy to say are just that. My skin has never felt as smooth and soft, it looks plumper, fresher, brighter and fine lines are smoothed. I only use this at night, the white cream is quite thick and at first I had to pump a bit to get it to come out. I only need one pump of the cream as it spreads quite well. It’s comfortable to wear and after a week I noticed a visible difference in the way my skin both looked and felt, so smooth and soft. This is a great anti ageing product packaged beautifully in clarins signature red and white. It makes such a difference to the appearance of skin and I will buy it again

The Calm Essentiel Soothing Emulsion comes packaged beautifully in the classic Clarins white and red packaging. The 50mL tube is white with red writing and pink detail around the pump that stands on its lid I have found it very hard to pump out I need to pump the cream many times to get any cream out. I used the cream first for my nighttime routine I used 2 pumps when I pat it into my skin I felt instant hydration and my skin was so soothed my skin has never felt so soft and comfortable it feels like soft silky sorbet to the touch. Update after a few weeks of use; my skin has never had such a instant surge of hydration and comfort before, even being lightweight I find one pump of the emulsion enough for my skin and when adding 1-2 drops of the restoring treatment oil to my emulsion I find it spreads really evenly on my skin. I think this range is definitely worth the splurge and will be personally purchasing this for myself to use once my emulsion runs out.

The Clarins Calm-essentiel Soothing emulsion comes in a white box with the classic Clarins red writing. The tube itself is white with the red writing and pink detailing which I find really luxurious and cute. The clear lid as plastic taped around it to hold it on securely and also for piece of mind that it hasn't been opened. For my first time using this it was for my night time skincare routine. Before I used the emulsion I cleansed my skin, toned, applied my eye cream and my serum and then went to apply the emulsion. I had to pump it around 30 time for it to start coming out. The emulsion is thick, white and smells absolutely fabulous. I would say that the fragrance of this emulsion has to be the most wonderful thing I have ever smelt. It smells floraly, sweet and expensive. It is a mild fragrance though. But what I can smell is absolutely divine and I look forward to the next time I get to apply it just so I can smell it again. I used 2 pumps and pressed it into my skin. I found 2 pumps to be too much for me so the next time I made sure I only used 1 pump. For my morning skincare routine I mix the emulsion with 1 drop of the Clarins Calm-essentiel restoring treatment oil. I had no irritation and there was no stickyness to my skin. My skin sucked it right up. My skin has honestly never felt this way. My skin looks and feels happy and hydrated. I have never had skin like this before. It's so soft and smooth. I find myself constantly touching and stroking my skin because it is honestly that good. I can't rave about this product enough. It's the best cream I have ever used. After a few weeks of use I have noticed my skin feels very smooth, looks happy and I've also noticed just how hydrated my skin has been. I would definitely purchase this product over and over again. My skin has never looked and felt so nice and healthy. It's so plump. Has to be used within 18 months from opening.
