Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil – Combination/Oily Skin

I love clarins products and this lotus face treatment oil is a winner for me. I love that it sinks straight in with no greasy oily feeling. I have combination skin that is showing signs of ageing and this adds no excess oil but hydrates and leaves my skin feeling super smooth and soft and looking Dewey and fresh, not as tired. It smells lovely and has a calming effect on my skin, helping with redness. The dropper is hygienic and makes the oil easy to use and apply and I only need a couple of drops so it lasts for ages so it’s excellent value for money. I absolutely love this product, it’s great for anti ageing and I highly recommend it

I've used this for over 5 years and it never fails. Beautifully light and non greasy - this was my first facial oil ever! I always keep going back to this despite trying other facial oils. The scent is luxurious and very natural. There are times where I would just use the oil alone without other products and it would still keep my skin healthy and nourished. I use it during all seasons and found that it works well for me. It has the perfect consistency which sits between light to medium and does not feel 'heavy' on the skin. It never brought me out despite my sensitive skin. Love love love!

I have combination skin and I like to add 2 drops of this oil in with my moisturiser either in the morning or at night time because I find it works best for me when I apply it like that. This oil absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my skin looking or feeling oily. It doesn't really have too much of an oily consistency. It's feels like a nice serum to me and it's quite thin in consistency. It smells botanical to me and I can definitely pick up on the chamomile that's in it. It has a relaxing smell and I do find that if I apply it at night time before bed it does help me to unwind and relax. I have only been using this in my routine for a few weeks now and I have noticed my skin always looks glowy/dewy. But never oily. I've also a noticed a reduction in the amount of redness that I get and my skin looks brighter and feels calmed. I'm looking forward to continuing using this oil over the coming months.
