This powder had a nice finish. It isn’t the best pressed powder that I have ever used but for the price the coverage is good. The packaging is cute and I think it would be great for someone just getting into makeup. I probably wouldn’t repurchase this as I prefer my current powder. I like that it vegan and sustainable.
Great everyday powder
I really liked this powder as it was lightweight and didn’t feel heavy on my skin.
I also used it for touch ups during the day and it didn’t become cakey.
I really liked the packaging and it is easy to take in my handbag during the day.
Everyday wear pressed powder
I am very impressed with the quality of this new covergirl clean fresh pressed powder! It lasts almost all day ! I have been using this in conjunction with the concealer from the same range ! The good point is that it’s vegan and kind of make you feel better while using it too ! It sets my foundation and concealer really well and make my skin looks flawless! I would definitely recommend this to everyone! It very affordable and is available in almost all pharmacies and supermarkets!
This is an excellent powder for the price. I’ve tried many higher end powders that are more finely milled and therefore look better on the skin but they come with a much higher price tag so this is great if you’re on a budget. I would happily use this powder day to day and have no problems with it texture, colour it application. It’s not super long lasting or wow in anyway but there is also nothing wrong with it. The packaging is a really cute millennial pink and quite sturdy, both pluses.
Loooove the colour!
Loved the colour of this powder - perfect for my skin tone! Would have been 5 stars but I felt it was a little too drying!
Not the best not the worst
Soft pink packaging was cute but not as sturdy as I would have like, popped open a couple of times when my cat decided it was a toy.
Would have preferred a separate compartment for the puff but I understand that's personal preference.
Match was ok, powder applied nicely but settled into larger pores and my deep scar fairly quickly.
It did mattify well without looking dry or cakey so may use it for touch ups rather than initial application.
In all not the best, definitely not the worst and is decently priced for overall quality.
I loved this powder and the size of the compact was perfect to pop into a very small clutch! My only issue was with the color range. The darkest shade medium was still a little light on my skin tone (I’m normally a mac NC43-45). I am looking forward to grabbing a translucent version of this once it hits shelves.
Beautiful fresh look
Absolutely loved this powder. Went on beautifully with a brush. The colour was a little light for my skin though.
Decent powder, light to medium coverage
I don't usually use powder but found this pretty good. I used it on top of foundation to set it. As with any powder it reduced the 'dewiness' but did help foundation stay out for longer. It only oxidised very slightly by the end of the day.
I found the undertone for this was very pink and did not match my skin at all. The powder itself is not cakey and you can apply more if you want full coverage. I couldn't continue using as it didn't match my skin and looked silly. My face got oily during the day when using this
The packaging is beautiful and good quality! The shade unfortunately was a bit too pink for my fair skin but that aside, the coverage was light and not cakey when applied with a brush.
A somehow non-drying powder!
I steer clear of powders as I have very dry skin and they often leave my skin looking like a desert, however, I have been applying this powder over the Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless foundation and together, they are a perfect match! I find that the powder helps set the foundation and means that my makeup will last all day at work and into the evening. A perfect on the run powder!
Slightly above average
The packaging of this powder is very “Millennial Pink”; it’s cute and lightweight. The powder itself is quite creamy and doesn’t have a lot of fall out. I have this in the shade 120, which I thought may have been too pale, but it doesn’t have a lot of coverage so I can get away with it. It doesn’t mattify things too much, which I prefer in a powder as I still like my skin to have a natural finish. If you’re after something to set things down with an opaque layer of powder and keep your makeup in place all day this probably isn’t the one for you. I don’t like the powder puff it came with, I’d prefer it didn’t come with anything to apply it, but if you touch up your powder throughout the day you may like it.
I wasn’t wowed by this powder, but I did enjoy the pink packaging and lightweight feel.
Good everyday powder
This was a good mattifying powder, it added decent coverage to my concealer. It felt soft and makes my skin look very smooth. I have the shade Light, it was a little bit too dark for my skin but I could make it work. The shade range should definitely be extended.
Nice to see a product with a conscience
Big thanks to the Review crew for giving me the opportunity to try this out.
This product is vegan friendly and cruelty free which is nice to see. The shade I received was fair/light which was a little light for me. The Formulation of this power is nice it mattifies the oily spots well but this powder is almost to the point of translucent so trying to get coverage only results in patchy and cakey coverage,
I would like to see what it looks like over the Covergirl foundation . The one thing I don’t like is the sparkle in the powder.
Decent but not the best
Decent product. It’s good for a quick fix to oily skin and make up touch ups. I wouldn’t use this alone as it has a very light coverage.
Not a fan of the powder puff it comes with, works better with a powder brush.
The packaging is super cute though!
COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Pressed Powder
I used this product daily after applying my foundation and concealer to set everything. I enjoy that the product is vegan and cruelty free. The shade “light” is not light enough in my opinion it would be good to see an expanded shade range. I didn’t like the puff that was included as I like to use my own brush to apply powder. I found the coverage to be on par with other drug store powders, with fading toward the end of the day. Overall a bit pricey in my opinion at $18.95 RRP however I will continue to use and buy again on sale.
This is pretty good but not really anything special. It has good coverage, the powder is not as fine as I like, but not cakey as far as some pressed powders can be. It's a light coverage - if you're looking for a powder to replace your liquid foundation, this isn't your best option. But for a vegan mattifying option it does the job.
I was lucky enough to receive a trial of this powder and I must say I was pretty impressed.
The container is quite sturdy, and has a mirror inside, which is handy when you need touch ups during the day!
I tend to use my own powder brush when using pressed foundation as I find it applies a lot more even.
The color was very even, matching my skin tone nicely. I applied a light coverage over the top of my BB cream, giving me a nicer, more medium coverage.
I found during the day it didn’t budge much, and I didn’t get overly oily either, which for me is usually evident through my T Zone.
Would I buy this powder again? Probably! It’s super handy to have at work and easy to apply without needing to fuss to much.
Not horrible, nor holy grail
This pressed powder compact was pretty average. Not horrible, nor holy grail worthy. I have combo skin and this sat just nicely on my skin but it did crease under my eyes. It did not blur my pores or cake up. It did help absorb and control my shine so i would suggest this for oily or combo skin types or those who appreciate clean, vegan beauty.
