Dior Hypnotic Poison Eau de Toilette

I find myself forever falling in and out of love with this delicious scent, there is something so very provocative and lingering that triggers all the right sensors I have been in a love hate relationship with poison for as long as I can remember but I just can not stay away and find myself reaching for it time and time again, a absolute classic

Sometimes perfume is like a relationship - you have to be at the right stage in your life for it to work.  Hypnotic Poison is the best example of this.  I really disliked it in my twenties.  I found it suffocatingly sweet.  However, in my forties I can see that it is so much more.  Now I smell the tuberose and coconut.  The sweetness makes sense and I can appreciate how this fragrance is the sum of its parts instead of just being the sugar bomb I once dismissed it as.  Surprisingly, this fragrance has become a very strong love for me.  I wear it and I feel like it's a second skin - it just fits perfectly.

Gggrrr. Get your teeth into this one ladies. Hypnotic Poison is appropriately packaged in firey, red heart racing bottle. Is instantly intoxicating. The fragrance is sensual and sef esteem boosting. Try people passing and stopping "What was that?!"  Is a scent like no others. Stands apart from the others.  Do you?? Hypnotic poison will settle in and smoulder on your skin. ❤️ Must have perfume in your selection when petals and poetry just needs a rest. Dior it!! 

Wonderfully sweet and long lasting. This is a true classic and makes me feel wonderful. On my skin, it smells like the smoothest, creamiest, milkiest, powdered vanilla. I asked others and they said it smelled powdery to them. To me, it smells like an elegant, vintage boudoir. But when I say 'vintage' -- I don't mean old or dated at all. I think it's vintage in a sense that it feels very familiar and comforting and sort of like... a memory of something important to you. So good. Definitely in my Top 3.
