Eau Thermale Avène TriXera Nutrition Nutri-Fluid Cleanser

This cleanser does the job but leaves me a little dry, so this is not really suitable for dry skin as marketed and certainly does not replenish lipids. Let's talk about the elephant in the room though: the fragrance. It is really nauseating and strong. I am very surprised by the other reviews which have stated that there is not a strong scent or that the scent is light. Fragrance is in the mid-range level in the ingredients list and it is obvious there is a lot of it in the mix. This is also why I find it incredulous that this is marketed as suiting sensitive skin types as well, seeing as fragrance is a known skin irritant. The fragrance is an absolute deterrent for me. This is marketed as suitable for use on the face and body. Perhaps this is better used on the body because I find it completely unsuitable for the face and particularly a dry and sensitive one. I have typically enjoyed Avene products and the remainder of the TriXera range, but this product is a negative outlier.
