Elizabeth Arden Drama Defined Color Collection - Standing Ovation Mascara

I love the big round, cone- shaped wand of this mascara, which really helps me to get a grip on all my lashes, for an easy application. It helps to lift the lashes and achieve that long-lashed, spidery look. I am especially happy that, with the tapered wand, it even works on my left eye lashes as well as the inner corners, notoriously short and straight and hard to coax into a curl. The formula is just right too – not too thick, no clumping of lashes, and whilst not providing that much volume does a good job of lengthening my lashes. The only fault I can find with this mascara is unfortunately a big one - its longevity. This mascara does flake under my eyes a bit too much, which is disappointing in a high-end mascara and worth keeping in mind if you need it to stay in place for a while.

Horrible. I was so looking forward to treating myself with a good quality mascara and unfortunately made a mistake by buying this one. The only good thing I can say about it is the packaging. That was stylish and looked awesome. Does it clump? Yes. Does it smudge under the eyes? Yes. Does it lengthen the lashes? No. Is it easy to apply? No. It was also the first mascara that did not last for three months. After reading others reviews about this, I found that apparently the formula was changed and that has also made the mascara really bad. I do not recommend it to anyone. Don't waste your money, buy a cheaper brand that you know works instead.

Love love this. This mascara gives me intense linger thicker looking lashes with ease. I used intense black and the pigment is really high quality and beautiful. The consistency is creamy and doesn’t dry my lashes and I love the design of the brush, it’s quick big and thick and distributes product really well from base to tip of lashes separating as it goes. It gives lashes a really long full lush look almost like false lashes and when I wear this I often receive compliments on my lashes and am asked what mascara I am wearing. It lasts super well without smudging and I love that it doesn’t go clumpy. It does deserve a standing ovation as it’s name suggests. It’s a pretty good price for the results and is packed nicely, I love the black and gold as it’s quite luxe. I will 100% buy this mascara again
